  1. You could set the playback to return to last possition on stop. Options | On Stop, Rewind to Now Marker,
  2. I can't find documentation for it so I don't know if there are shortcuts for workspaces. I would open the keybindings and search for workspace or Lens. As far as importing screensets please look at the documenation: https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=ControlBar.09.html
  3. Yep, I use it all the time. I trim clips to quantization points and then move the data to the begining of the clip to time align it. I think it is called slip editing
  4. Please post a screen capture of your track before and after recording. We also need to know what sound card and driver mode you are using.
  5. You may have to use your investigative abilities to see when and why this happens. It may be that there there is a clip already at 0 possition so you can't drag it left. You may have the clips locked. Does bouncing them to a single clip have any effect on the ability to move them? etc.
  6. Have you tried toggling the interleave button before recording and in the input to the track make sure you select a stereo pair of inputs?
  7. One thing that might help is to open up "device manager" and disable the audio interfaces for the monitors (AMD High Definition Audio Device).
  8. Anytime I record midi it always follows the changing tempo. How did you record it with its "own" tempo?
  9. Isn't that the point of Sound on Sound mode? To have the previous take be audible?
  10. Could be a plug-in's fault. Bypass all effects and try exporting. Similiar thread here.
  11. Are you using a Workspace (Lens) or a screen set? You may need to save Lens with the setup you want or set it to none.
  12. I guess the real answer is if you think it sounds ok then it is. I would prefere the actual pick attack in the loop but it may not actually make a big audible difference.

    It doens't launch

You many need to try a clean install. https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034066393-Clean-Install-Cakewalk-by-BandLab
  14. I would put any sample libraries on the SSD and your projects and audio folders. I personally like an SSD for my boot drive as well since it boots up so much faster then a standard spinning hardrive.
  15. What audio device are you using? What sample rate, driver mode etc. are you using? This sounds like your sound card is set to one sample rate and the Cakewalk project is set to a different rate. Please see the tutorial section for some basic setup and instruction.
  16. I have not tried this personally but I would think that Melodyne would be your best bet. You could try to copy the file to several tracks and then filter them to try to isolate each peiece a bit more. It probably won't be perfect but might get you somewhat close. Cymbals are going to be the hardest I would think.
  17. You probably need to describe your question a bit more. Also, including your system specs and what you have tried. Screen shots, audio and video clips all can be helpful. I know you included your project file but I cannot try it right now
  18. Seems that only the expansion is free when I Look at it.
  19. Try some of the tutorial in this link
  20. For the windows 11 issues you should go and check that windows did not enable any disabled hardware, like built in sound card etc. Also, check your power plan and windows defender scan paths and exceptions.
  21. I don't know why it would be ignoring the clip automation but here are a couple of questions and things to check. - How are you exporting the audio? Make sure that your export options include the appropriate automation. - Make sure that if this clip(s) are in a track with multiple takes that you have bounced the comped track, or as you mention, Flatten comp. - Use track automation instead of clip automation.
  22. I am not looking at Neutron right now but unless there are two separate channels in Neutron to send to then you are just combining both the guitar and vocal track into the side chain to compress the keyboard part. You would have to instatiate two separate compressors and send the guitar to one and the voice to another to compress the keyboard differently based on the send track.
