Here are my registry entries for RX11. Obviously your “CurrentDirectory”, will be different. RX11 also needs “RegionFlag” and “Type”

Is the patch and bank for the MIDI track that is routed to the TTS channel 10 and 16 both set to the Power Set? Or you could insert a Bank/Patch change event in the MIDI track itself.

Cakewalk Product Center ? Whats does it do?
Promidi replied to John Vere's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Here is what my Cakewalk Product Centre looks like on my PC after clicking on “Cakewalk by Bandlab” and enabling “Show Add-ons”. I still have Cakewalk by Bandlab 2024.02 Build 98 installed On yours, what happens if you click on “Cakewalk by Bandlab” on your Cakewalk Product Centre (which is the same version as mine) The Cakewalk Product Centre is downloaded from here: When ever I have downloaded Cakewalk Product Centre from the link in here, I have only ever click on the blue “download” button under “No Preview Available”. Then a page appears that says “Google Drive can't scan this file for viruses.......... {snip}” along with a “Download Anyway” button. That is what gets you the installer for the Cakewalk Product Centre. The above link describes what the purpose of Cakewalk Product Centre. -
What is listed in the “Project Files” field in Preferences - File - Folder Locations. Also, whatever is there, does that folder actually exist and is it readable?

I asked for this on the Arturia forums about a year ago. Crickets.... (or an AI response).....but no dark modes to date. (for Aug series and motions)

No , not a bug. Those colours are currently set in cast iron. Maybe the option to change them will come back to Sonar in the future, but for now, this is it.

Looks like a candidate for a keybinding setting.....

MIDI Transfer from Cakewalk by Bandlab to Studio One
Promidi replied to Larry Jones's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Tell your friend to save the MIDI from CbB instead of exporting the MIDI. Saved MIDI files from CbB puts the tempo in the MIDI file. Exported MIDI does not. -
Tell that to your clients....

Melodyne 5 updated to 5.4.0.036 Melodyne 5 > Help > Check for updates New in Version 5.4 The update to Version 5.4 contains improvements and bug fixes, which is why we recommend it to all users. Pro Tools and Cubase with ARA: When opening a project with Melodyne, crashes sometimes occurred. Pro Tools with ARA: Deleting a clip from a stereo track with Melodyne ARA during playback sometimes led to a crash. All versions under Windows: In the event of a faulty connection with the Celemony server, a crash sometimes occurred. Studio One with ARA: When using the Fade Tool or closing a session, crashes sometimes occurred. ARA: Opening a second tab after opening the Sound Editor sometimes resulted in either a blank user interface or a crash. Stand-alone implementation: Under macOS, invoking the Undo function during a copy operation sometimes led to a crash. Stand-alone implementation: Crashes sometimes occurred when activating Melodyne. Stand-alone implementation: The command “Save and Replace Audio” sometimes resulted in a crash when the audio file being edited was at the same time being used and played back in a DAW. Trial version of Melodyne: Interrupting activation under Windows sometimes led to a crash. All versions: In the Japanese user interface, an incorrect localization for “Sibilant Handling” was displayed in Note Assignment Mode. ARA: The ARA mode is now also displayed correctly in the “About Melodyne” window. Stand-alone implementation: Activating the record-enable function via the track view in the Note Editor had no effect on the track pane, where the Record Enable button remained grayed out.

Reinstall CbB using the Cakewalk Product Centre

Never had that issue. Does the tone go away if you disable all input echos? What audio interface are you using?

I have a PCR-800 that I have had working in all iterations of Windows10, including 22H2. I had to hack an INF file in the PCR Windows 8 drivers to make this happen. The drivers you modify are here: https://www.roland.com/global/support/by_product/pcr-300/updates_drivers/ Here is a link to explain the procedure to make the modification to these drivers. http://www.lauvadidzis.com/2023/01/making-pcr-800-working-under-windows-10.html I have also attached my modified drivers. You will still have to disable Windows driver signing to install them. One other thing I would recommend is to tell Windows10 not to touch drivers when installing Windows quality updates. Here is a link to explain the procedure to set this. See: https://www.techilife.com/exclude-drivers-from-windows-quality-updates/ PCR800 Windows 10 64bit.zip

Have you confirmed that the Dimension Pro DLL file is actually in a folder that is listed in Preferences - File - VST settings > VST Scan paths?

AAS Jazz Café introductory sale, now $19 instead of $39:
Promidi replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
I have never paid for than $19.00 for an AAS sound pak. What is more, I have never paid for than $99 for any of their synths. There are many plugins from many companies where I reckon the sale price is their actual price. For EG, does anyone actually pay $US199 for Eventide’s Black Hole? Really?, I paid $US29.99 when it was on sale (which is regularly does). The are very few plugins or libraries that I have purchased that I have paid actual MSRP for. -
Here are some of mine. Of course there are any others, but these are my main speeder uppers. X > Cut C > copy V > Paste A > select all Q > select none B > bounce clips S > Smart Tool D > Draw M > Move I have also configured any workspaces NOT to load their respective keybindings.

"Autocomplete" click-dragging track for continuous kick
Promidi replied to dreddurius's question in Q&A
Do the hi-hats for 1 measure. Select the clip. Then CTRL+L. Grab the right edge of the clip with the hihats you just entered. Drag to right as needed. -
If you had a licence for a version of Cakewalk that contained TTS-1, you can install that, then reinstall Cakewalk by Bandlab. Alternatively, here is a VST that can effectively replace TTS-1 See: https://www.jrrshop.com/roland-sound-canvas-va-plugin-lifetime-key Applying GROUP in the Discount Codes reduces the price ever further.

MIDI Audio - The tutorials and documentation are outdated, pls help
Promidi replied to Shawn Patterson's question in Q&A
If I was once relying on TTS-1 to convert MIDI files to audio and this option stopped being available to me, I would consider using Roland’s CanvasVA as a replacement for TTS-1 See: https://www.jrrshop.com/roland-sound-canvas-va-plugin-lifetime-key If you have a licence for a previous version of Cakewalk that did contain TTS-1, then you can install that previous version before installing Cakewalk by Bandlab or Sonar Backstage pass version. The availability of TTS-1 will be carried across to Cakewalk by Bandlab or Sonar Backstage pass version. Note: I have another solution for converting MIDI files to audio, but most people would not have (or be able to acquire) what I use. -
What happens if you temporarily deselect “64-bit Double Precision Engine” in Preferences - Audio - Driver Settings. What VSTi plugins are you using? What are your PC specs. --- Have you set CPU min max to 100%. Start + run "control powercfg.cpl,,1" (without quotes) and set CPU Min and Max to 100% (Under Processor power management) -- In preferences | Audio | Configuration File try adjusting the following: EnableSetThreadIdealProcessor = False MixThreadCount = {number of CPU cores minus 1} You might like to exit Cakewalk by Bandlab, go to the following folder and make a copy of the AUD.INI file before doing this: %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core Try disabling C-states and Intel Speedstep (This is done in the PC's BIOS and the method varies between PCs. not sure how, then get someone who knows to do ths for you)
