    acid loops have a specific file extension name that might not be recognised in sonar, sonar has it's own version called "groove clips" I believe.

    I've been tempted by the manley eq and compressor for a while but have the pulsar ones so thought it was a bit unnecessary, might be a no brainer @ $10.00 each. + 4 more. amazing they now give them away for such low prices. but do I actually need them?

    is this like a ponzi scheme type thing ? for example, you wait until 30th Oct to "buy in" at 40,000 participants, do you still get all the free software? (49) or just the one or two because you were late to the party.

    find some hi-res recordings and sample them. there is a radio station near me on DAB (uk) called angel radio, plays all that type of stuff, some of the music is restored digitally, some is played straight off the original recordings. about the earliest I heard on there is 1910.
