Any recommendations for a 49 key midi keyboard with transport controls, save using the mouse/laptop touchpad ?

Very good plugin, I recommend this.

all very confusing.

I think the issue was recording into one side of a stereo input thinking it was a mono input, if you panned hard right wouldn't the signal disappear? not all equipment utilises the left channel of a stereo input as a instrument input. (mono) I 've had this happen before, I just scrubbed it and started again.
-
use a plug in on the channel to swap it to a mono channel, you'll find a free one somewhere.

a lot of them sound different on playback to me, same as media players, but they seem to render the same according to the test, but some don't according to the test ? did he do the test wrong? some sound a bit "tinnier" than others to me. go figure.

Just had a look on the Magix forum, it seems these 3 softwares were developed by some people in Germany, the old sony stuff is seperate and developed originally by someone else and is being retained by Magix. Watch this space. would be better for Magix to slim down their range and concentrate on getting them in better shape imo. Although having said that, wasn't Music studio originally a Sony software ? -

In Germany it's a ginger tennis player. Acid pro is dead then ? -
possibly, I don't think vst 3 would be necessary, there would be no presets, only the one sound of the organ/piano they sound very good imo, very "lifelike" over 600 sinewaves superimposed onto each other, never heard of this type of synthesis before.

i didn't realise their plug in's needed updates, say what you like they make rock solid stable plugins' they updated the alpha compressor (they call it mk 2) but it's essentially the same, but you have to pay for it. of all the companies that could get away with charging for new plug in's (mk 2's) it would be plugin alliance.
