possibly. Sonalksis were the best plug in back in them days, I doubt anyone still uses them, all fabfilter now, same with synths probably. Rob Papen did have good stuff.

how does this compare to the old Ohmboyz reverb from many moons ago? edit: found some sound examples, not comparible. Ohmboyz still no 1 edit2: still sounds good though.

Thanks for the tips, I'm not familiar with those composers, I will have a listen to them. There is a small article I found about the Concerto for Harpsichord, apparently it was a prank. good prank. https://culture.pl/en/work/concerto-for-harpsichord-henryk-mikolaj-gorecki Yes, I believe they call "symphony of sorrowful songs" symphony number 3, it's the second movement which I am a fan of, reminded me a bit of Ralph Vaughn Williams when I heard it. -

What a sad tale that was, I almost had to get a box of tissues to wipe my eyes. -
What music would you describe as "groundbreaking" music you heard and thought "wow this really breaks new ground" I'll start with this one, I heard a piece of music on the radio a while back called - Symphony of sorrowful songs - Gorecki number 2 in particular, beautiful piece of music. I then looked into more Gorecki music (he was around in the mid 20th century era) and found not much, a lot of religious hymnal music. then I happened across this - Henryk Górecki - Concerto for Harpsichord and String Orchestra Op. 40 amazing, nothing like hearing something like that for the first time, struggled to get my head around it tbh but you knew it was something special. threw the rule book out of the window. anyway, here is the track, feel free to post your own examples.

myself also, I am on version 9 I'll hold out till version 15

your post prompted me to check my arturia account for updates, I got 40 of them all updated for free, you should email them they are clearly trying to fleece you.

I had an issue with them a couple of years ago, they have a forum which if you're lucky and are able to find to voice your issue, you might get a reply from an employee within about 3 weeks. They have exactly 3 plugins that are all about 10 years old and they constantly have coding issues or some problem. I would recommend trying something else for your 808 kick drums, there are a few decent ones. It is definately not Sonar causing your problem.

forgot what a nightmare installing melda plugins is, trying to install one uninstalls all, I had an awful time previously with a drum machine I bought for £7 took about a day to install the damn thing. Edit, managed to get them going again after about 6 or 7 attempts. I watched a video they have about the installation, they have their bases covered talking about "if there are glitches in installation" do this, just make a video saying our installation software is rubbish and you are likely to have issues, but thanks for buying our plugins. People would have more respect if they did that. they do make great plugins though. grrr.

sublab is junk and the people who run it are clowns, better getting off your computer imo.

caved in, first plugin for months, actual useful one and the UVI piano, very good, £12.67 👍 have an arturia piano, but I think this one is better sounding.

it's "politics" not politics, no politicians involved. aristotelean politics. (I think they dislike plugin boutique more than politics on here for some reason tbh)

This is Deals Politics. Stays in Deals imo.
