Oh boy. This is not looking good. The incompatability issue hit me bad with their previous maschine and play libraries so thats why I had to keep an oler version of everything on a separate DAW. it looks like I will not be upgrading to K8 on my main DAW setup as I dont what stuff to break. it has been working flawlessly. i accept the slow load times of K7.

I have a ticket open with IKM support. I feel something is not right with the way they are counting what is the T Racks processor. I will PM Peter to see if he can do anything.

Iam considering one day getting into the arc hardware. maybe tracks 6 will be included free in that.

I can now see an upgrade path in my IK login account. iIs $50 off for me. And I own all of Tracks except the vocal chiccelli compressor. So for me to get Track6 Max its $149. Can't stack jampoints. And i have over 250 jammies. Well, we sit back and we wait my fellow GASers..

so. as a long time IKM user. my toughts. their site is not quite ready for sale or release and the prices will sort themselves out in a day or so. from the new feature list, it seems the only useful stuff is - resizable gui. but i can use the magnifying tool in the OS for that. - new master match -- though i cant tell if its a new algorithm or just a reface - new metering -- though i don't know how useful that is for me. i just use one type -- LUFS ATSC -- so i guess if you are a fancy mastering mixeing engineer working on international global tv shows -- useful??

yeah. and idont see a upgrade offer to max in my account yet.

wow... those YT videos came out fast LOL!! checking it out.. but it looks like they put Tracks into a shell that looks like ToneX sort of. the bigger question is what has improved and what is new?

I am not complaing. i enjpy using Track and got my moneys worth i think. but curious to see what Track6 will look like. and also curious to see if/how they will offer the upgrade based on my ownership of the tracks products -- which has been little group buys over the years. so i took a peek at audio deluxe. so they gots tracks "max "for $2,699.99 and total studio for $99 ... I jumped on this. I think the new plugins do get included. but not any of the Flex stuff or any UVI bundled stuff.

Does anyone recall what were the regular priced upgrades in the past?

so what is the consensus? is this a must have? my highest quality plugins are softube so far I think.

yeah. me too. i havent bought much new at all. i have too much. i did get a few arturia preset packs fro 50% off just to make more use of my investment. but not much else. only freebies i can find. the UA delay was good. i also think the sales prices of plugins aren't as good as there were in past. i am sure i saw deals for $12 and lower for stuff that they are asking $29 and $39 when on sale these days.

got it. now i have simple concept and concept 2. fwiw.. Krotos Concept has been the few products that always crash me DAW.

Good freebie. I already have it as part of my stuff. But man, am I screwed over by being in the group buy stream. I own 99% of whats in Amplitube, so it makes zero sense for me to spend $49 when it goes on sale for me to complete my entire collection. So I constantly have to be aware of the stuff I am missing in Amplitube like a few mics and a few amps. :-(
