  1. I own Syntronik 1 Deluxe, have Syntronik 2 CS installed, and just added the full Syn 2 version of V-80. I thought there would be more than 38 new V-80 v2 presets, but apparently not. So it appears that the v2 instruments do not duplicate the v1 instruments, but only v2 can be opened in the editor. So my conclusion, for better or worse, is that any bloat exists at the sample level, and IK's system is very opaque in that regard.
  2. Have you already taken the usual recommended steps to optimize your PC for audio? https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/windows-11-pc-optimization-for-recording/ https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/pc-optimization-guide-for-windows-10/ It would be helpful to post your audio hardware specs and audio settings. And it never hurts to run "LatencyMon" to see if you have a driver hogging your system. It's pretty technical, but just know that green means your PC is good to go for real-time audio. If red, post your results... https://resplendence.com/latencymon
  3. Well I guess that with the "full" version of V-80 v2, I was hoping for 100 new presets... But for free, I cannot complain!
  4. But this puzzles me. From the IKM product page for V-80:
  5. Looks like about 38 v2 presets here for the V-80. For the v1 presets it look like about 104 presets.
  6. I just installed it, and I only own Syn 1 Deluxe, plus Syn 2 CS. The Syn 2 V-80 installs side-by-side with the Syn 1 V-80, so you can now use the fully editable v2 presets for this instrument in the Syn 2 edit panel, however the v1 presets won't open in the editor. You can set the browser filter for the presets for either version, but the V-80 preset names don't appear to be duplicated between v1 and v2. At least for the ones that I spot checked. So it seems you need to keep both versions installed to have all the presets available.
  7. Got it in my cart. Took forever to get this far... Waiting for the check-out screen now ... and waiting ... and waiting...
  8. That was just a friendly suggestion. Nobody is going to interfere with your right to Free Speech. But I doubt you will win many friends here with your opinions... ?
  9. "Unfollow" the thread and move along please! That way it will not have any impact on you one way or the other...
  10. Hmmm... AudioPlugin.Deals seems to be unavailable at the moment...
  11. Just saw this in the BPB newsletter! https://bedroomproducersblog.com/2022/03/04/syntronik-v80-free/
  12. There was also an EZDrummer software update waiting when I checked.
  13. FYI, Reid (aka Tiger the Frog) has been a member of this "Deals" group for as long as I can remember, even going back to the legacy Cakewalk forum days... He has also been quite active over on the VI-Control forum, especially with his "Black Friday" deals posts. So he is a solid deals aficionado... and his off-topic meanderings are quite interesting and educational! Tip: There is a little button up on the top right corner of this page that may show "Following". If you do not care to follow any longer, just click it to set to "Unfollow", and you will no longer receive any notifications for this thread! Just one click, and we can all get along again!
  14. Nobody made you read this post. So why are you commenting here if not interested? Unfollow and move along...
  15. I got a 2nd license for Nimbus and R4 when I upgraded. So I'm fine with 2 licenses (even though they are iLok).
  16. I think that Pripyat Pianos belong to a similar genre and use case as the IK Cinekinetik: Shipwreck Pianos. Dark and moody, good for texture.
  17. OK, I found the 8DIO version here finally. https://8dio.com/instrument/free-asmr-for-kontakt-vst-au-aax/ But it appears to be hidden on the website headline listing the FREE 8DIO products but, they list the SoundPaint version. Probably based on the same sample set, but the instrument categories possibly appear to be different between the Kontakt and SoundPaint programs.
  18. Yep, it is @Simeon Amburgeywho is responsible for me buying this library a while back!
