  1. I hear you, but I have my casual gaming PC set up in the living room next to my flat screen HDTV. Although I do have a wireless keyboard/mouse on my coffee table, a controller is preferable for that 8-10' interface. Hunching over the coffee table gets very uncomfortable after a couple of minutes. Much rather kick back on the couch! ?
  2. Can you upload 200 GB to OneDrive?
  3. Fyi, Steam keeps a good list of which games have full controller support, among other feature details... https://store.steampowered.com/search/?sort_by=Name_ASC&category2=28
  4. This game only lists partial controller support. That mode can be less than satisfactory when you need 3 devices to play the game. A mouse for selecting menus items, a keyboard for shortcuts, and the controller for movements, etc. Best to use keyboard/mouse only mode for them. All Windows games that were also designed for game consoles should ideally include a full controller mode in Windows, but unfortunately some do not. Some games for Windows do include full controller support. I have an XBOX wired USB controller for PC that works good for those games that support it.
  5. Will this be an online only cloud based thingy?
  6. Free until 6/9/22. Windows only. https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/wolfenstein-the-new-order https://wolfenstein.fandom.com/wiki/Wolfenstein:_The_New_Order https://www.ign.com/wikis/wolfenstein-new-order/Walkthrough https://www.pcworld.com/article/708473/epics-latest-giveaway-is-wolfenstein-the-new-order.html
  7. I'll leave that task to you. I don't do YouTube! ?
  8. Set your KeyLab Mk II to Cubase DAW mode. Add the Mackie Control Surface, using the MIDIIN2 (KeyLab MkII) and MIDIOUT2 (KeyLab MKII) ports for the control surface. These must first be enabled in MIDI devices to show up here. Then configure the Mackie Control Surface as shown below. Save the preset with your chosen name. I picked "Mackie Cubase Mode". That's it! Simple!
  9. Likewise, I found the new Cubase profile for Mackie Control Surface in Cakewalk allowed me to easily get 95% control surface functionality with my Arturia KeyLab 61 Mk II. The KeyLab has a Cubase DAW profile built-in that seems to match up well! All of the transport and track controls (select, pan, and fader) work perfectly, as well as the master fader, solo, mute, and record buttons. Nice work, Bakers!!!
  10. Plus, Toontrack did a very nice job of working the graphics from the older expansions into EZD3 interface!!!

I've got Sonar X1 Power! Make an offer! ?
  13. It was $9.99 back in February 2022

I wonder if Craigslist has moderators for crap like this...?
  15. Renaming "ctrlsurface.dat" saved my bacon today! After an initial attempt at adding a new Mackie control surface definition, I was unable to restart Cakewalk until I reset the control surfaces with this method. Cakewalk crashed every time I started it after making the change. It apparently had some conflicts with some earlier settings or something. All good now!
  16. Here are my results from an initial test of the new Mackie Control feature in Cakewalk Early Access 2022.06:

Not really, because this thread is clearly a joke. Nobody here is selling it. And If there was an actual buyer for this Craigslist item, the software would be useless to them, as it's non-transferable. According to the ad: "Has been licensed. You will have to purchase a user license, I think is $35? Installation will automatically open the Sonar website on your computer. Free updates are available, and additional effects plugins are available." Big LOL!!! So he's actually just selling the discs and user manual. Let the buyer beware!
  18. I upgraded for the scalable user interface. My eyes thank me.
  19. I had the opportunity to briefly test the new control surface settings with my Arturia KeyLab 61 Mk II today. It was mostly a success using the Cubase mode in the keyboard with the Mackie MCU Cubase mode in Cakewalk Mackie Control. These features were all plug and play, using the Mackie Control "Bus" option on the Master Fader, and "Select highlights track" option: jog wheel transport controls, including the loop button track and master faders track pan knobs track select buttons the solo, mute, & record buttons under track controls Read automation button (but write does nothing) Not sure what's going on with the global controls... the metronome button doesn't do anything, the undo button opens the event list. and the save button opens and closes the browser panel.
  20. The Hammond and the MODO's don't require much disk space, and they are some of the best instruments that IK makes. The MODO drum has sampled cymbals, but the rest of the kit is modeled. MixBox is light too, and some of the best FX you will find in 1 rack!!!

BandLab owns the intellectual property rights to all former Cakewalk software. You would need to ask them.
  22. I agree that the AT5 bass amps are really nice!

I would stick with X3 for the pre-Platinum Sonar series...
  24. Well all 3 of those EZbass packs have counterparts in the EZkeys MIDI packs that were created in tandem so they should work together. I have the Singer Songwriter and Americana bass/keys packs, but haven't used them a lot yet. On my to-do list...
