Only 47 pages over at KVR. WOW!!! ?

You do not need to fix the zip file. It can remain broken as is. ? As long as you move everything to the right location as far as the unzipped stuff goes, the presets should open without error.

That has already been explained earlier in this thread. Suggest doing a search.

The Syner-V installer has a known problem with placing part of the installed sample content into an extra sub-folder under the Syner-V samples folder. Just copy/move it into the correct place and you will be good to go. I've already fixed mine, so I don't have a picture to share. Study another synths folder structure, then compare that to Syner-V's folder. You should spot a difference!

Sorry to hear you are having this trouble! What a pain! But I think that if this was a widespread issue with IK products, then there would be a lot of loud wailing and screaming. Have you tested alternate sample rates and buffer sizes in your interface? Or maybe roll back just one of the IK products with the smallest footprint (like B3). And see if that makes a difference? Perhaps the UAD driver is exposing a bug in the IK stuff that's unique to the UAD driver. Since you mentioned that the standalone is also affected, that does rule out your DAW being involved. I doubt the majority of IK users are using UAD interfaces, so the QA team at IK may have missed something. ? So I agree with your hunch that the culprit must lie somewhere between IK <==> UAD.

You really need to check out: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I think the point of heckling XLN is that they seem to be lagging behind the competition, such as Toontrack, which regularly keeps releasing expansions and MIDI packs for their products. I'm not going to bash XLN's existing products, as I have always liked Addictive Drums and Keys. High quality stuff! But something new once in a while would keep them front and center.

Which driver are you using now?

No issues with IK synths here running Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen, at ASIO sample rate 48,000 with 256 buffer size. Are your issues with the standalone programs, or using the plugin within a DAW?

I have the XLN Studio Grand, and it sounds pretty good. But would it kill them to provide a "performance" view with the piano, and maybe a virtual keyboard like many other virtual keyboard instruments include? There are edit panels galore, but this seems like such an obvious omission! I have rarely opened Addictive Keys since I got the Arturia Piano V. I am not a piano snob (or player) so I've never even looked at Pianoteq or any of the really high end virtual pianos... not looking for a solo piano.

Remind me again... what is XLN Audio? ?

The only game I ever saw played on a Mac was "Myst".

OK, then I hope your ISP offers better upload speeds than mine does. I only get slightly more than 5 Mbps upload, even though downloads are much faster.

I hear you, but I have my casual gaming PC set up in the living room next to my flat screen HDTV. Although I do have a wireless keyboard/mouse on my coffee table, a controller is preferable for that 8-10' interface. Hunching over the coffee table gets very uncomfortable after a couple of minutes. Much rather kick back on the couch! ?

Can you upload 200 GB to OneDrive?

Fyi, Steam keeps a good list of which games have full controller support, among other feature details... https://store.steampowered.com/search/?sort_by=Name_ASC&category2=28

This game only lists partial controller support. That mode can be less than satisfactory when you need 3 devices to play the game. A mouse for selecting menus items, a keyboard for shortcuts, and the controller for movements, etc. Best to use keyboard/mouse only mode for them. All Windows games that were also designed for game consoles should ideally include a full controller mode in Windows, but unfortunately some do not. Some games for Windows do include full controller support. I have an XBOX wired USB controller for PC that works good for those games that support it.

Will this be an online only cloud based thingy?

Set your KeyLab Mk II to Cubase DAW mode. Add the Mackie Control Surface, using the MIDIIN2 (KeyLab MkII) and MIDIOUT2 (KeyLab MKII) ports for the control surface. These must first be enabled in MIDI devices to show up here. Then configure the Mackie Control Surface as shown below. Save the preset with your chosen name. I picked "Mackie Cubase Mode". That's it! Simple! -

Likewise, I found the new Cubase profile for Mackie Control Surface in Cakewalk allowed me to easily get 95% control surface functionality with my Arturia KeyLab 61 Mk II. The KeyLab has a Cubase DAW profile built-in that seems to match up well! All of the transport and track controls (select, pan, and fader) work perfectly, as well as the master fader, solo, mute, and record buttons. Nice work, Bakers!!!
