  1. This is really strange, because the Z3TA+2 UI should be rather tiny at that 3200x1800 resolution. It is a legacy plugin that wasn't really designed for today's high resolution screens. So it should shrink as the resolution gets higher. Are you sure that you don't have scaling enabled? That's the only thing I can think of that may be a factor here... For me running at 1080P, the Z3TA+2 UI only takes up a minor portion of the screen. See example:
  2. Hey thanks for reminding me about the Groove3 perk! Eventide gave me $25 off for that! Got a $29 plugin for $4. Note: I didn't use the code "Groove3". I logged into my Groove3 account, redeemed my Eventide perk, and hit the "Redeem here" link. That took me to a cart in the Eventide site with the discounted price...
  3. I picked up Blackhole a couple of years ago. It's my favorite reverb for sound design. Also grabbed Shimmerverb, which is very nice as well, but a bit more subtle than Blackhole. Adds a nice ambiance to just about any instrument. These reverbs are best if you dial the wet mix back a little bit to taste... just saying...
  4. I'll pass on this one... but here it is if you want to check it out! ? YOU are the shark. Eat! Explore! Evolve! https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/maneater
  5. That only allows the Cakewalk plugin window itself to be resized, not the actual plugin UI. If you do it that way to shrink the plugin window, the plugin UI will appear cropped and you will need to slide it around to see different parts of it in the window, but not all of it at the same time. Big difference from a re-sizeable plugin!
  6. Here are some BBCSO templates for other DAWs... https://www.spitfireaudiothepage.com/posts/discover-templates https://www.spitfireaudiothepage.com/posts/core-templates https://www.spitfireaudiothepage.com/posts/pro-templates
  7. Z3TA+ 2 does not really have a very big UI on a current HD monitor. Are you using a laptop screen? What resolution and/or scaling are you using? The only size option that I am aware with this plugin is the show/hide preview strip at the bottom (the virtual keys).

  9. Only 47 pages over at KVR. WOW!!! ?
  10. You do not need to fix the zip file. It can remain broken as is. ? As long as you move everything to the right location as far as the unzipped stuff goes, the presets should open without error.
  11. That has already been explained earlier in this thread. Suggest doing a search.
  12. The Syner-V installer has a known problem with placing part of the installed sample content into an extra sub-folder under the Syner-V samples folder. Just copy/move it into the correct place and you will be good to go. I've already fixed mine, so I don't have a picture to share. Study another synths folder structure, then compare that to Syner-V's folder. You should spot a difference!
  13. Sorry to hear you are having this trouble! What a pain! But I think that if this was a widespread issue with IK products, then there would be a lot of loud wailing and screaming. Have you tested alternate sample rates and buffer sizes in your interface? Or maybe roll back just one of the IK products with the smallest footprint (like B3). And see if that makes a difference? Perhaps the UAD driver is exposing a bug in the IK stuff that's unique to the UAD driver. Since you mentioned that the standalone is also affected, that does rule out your DAW being involved. I doubt the majority of IK users are using UAD interfaces, so the QA team at IK may have missed something. ? So I agree with your hunch that the culprit must lie somewhere between IK <==> UAD.
  14. You really need to check out: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
  15. I think the point of heckling XLN is that they seem to be lagging behind the competition, such as Toontrack, which regularly keeps releasing expansions and MIDI packs for their products. I'm not going to bash XLN's existing products, as I have always liked Addictive Drums and Keys. High quality stuff! But something new once in a while would keep them front and center.
  16. No issues with IK synths here running Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen, at ASIO sample rate 48,000 with 256 buffer size. Are your issues with the standalone programs, or using the plugin within a DAW?
  17. Thanks for the tip! This was just a simple "out-of-the box" user report. I was using KeyLab's built-in Cubase DAW mode preset, which cannot be edited. I also tried the KeyLab's built-in "Standard MCU" DAW mode preset, but that didn't seem to work quite as well as the Cubase DAW mode with the Cubase overlay in Mackie Control. Custom mapping might be possible from the KeyLab using with the "User" memory mode. But since things are mostly usable without any customization, I consider this a big "win"! Note: I used MIDI-OX to capture the KeyLab's MIDI messages sent using the buttons, faders, and knobs. All control surface related messages are sent via the device MIDIIN2 (KeyLab Mk II). The primary MIDI in port is reserved for the keyboard keys. Buttons send a MIDI note on, followed by a note off message. Faders send a MIDI note on, followed by pitch bend, followed by a note off. Knobs send a MIDI CC#. The metronome button sends this message (multiple presses shown):
  18. I have the XLN Studio Grand, and it sounds pretty good. But would it kill them to provide a "performance" view with the piano, and maybe a virtual keyboard like many other virtual keyboard instruments include? There are edit panels galore, but this seems like such an obvious omission! I have rarely opened Addictive Keys since I got the Arturia Piano V. I am not a piano snob (or player) so I've never even looked at Pianoteq or any of the really high end virtual pianos... not looking for a solo piano.
  19. Remind me again... what is XLN Audio? ?
  20. I picked up the MegaMagic Guitars for Unify during the early deal, as well as this earlier release of Renegade for Unify! Gewd stough!!!
  21. Introductory price of $59 until June 12th!!! The $49 early intro deal has expired. PluginGuru released this overview on YouTube 4 days ago:
  22. The only game I ever saw played on a Mac was "Myst".
  23. OK, then I hope your ISP offers better upload speeds than mine does. I only get slightly more than 5 Mbps upload, even though downloads are much faster.
