  1. Way to go! ? You just brought the GB down to 16 more for 30 free synths! We only need 216 to go all the waaaaaayyyy!!!
  2. That was a play on the phrase "Go big, or go home".
  3. Here's a breakdown of the essentials... Install Syntronik 2 CS (or whatever), and only use the Syntronik 2 content path for it. As you install new synths, using IKPM, force them to only install in the new Syntronik 2 path. For the original 22 synths, you must use the "reinstall" option in IKPM for each individual synth, so that it does a full install to the new path. If you have already added the content path for Syntronik 1 to Syntronik 2 settings, remove it. Once you do remove it, your Syn1 synths will "break" in Syn2 until you perform a "reinstall" for each one into the new content path. That will install all of the original content, plus the new presets and wave sets for Syn2 in the new location. If you do this, there shouldn't be any legacy dependencies relating to your original Syntronik 1 install from the Syntronik 2 perspective. At this point you should be clear to uninstall version 1. On the flip side, you could always leave Syntronik 1 as is, and live with the dependencies... Also, if you want to conserve disk space, only install the synths that you plan to use, or are your favorites. My plans are to trim the list down to 20 or so...
  4. Well since I am using a completely new Syntronik 2 content folder for all things Syn2, I am performing a "reinstall" for any of the "new" 22 Syn1/Syn2 upgraded instruments that I install. While that duplicates (temporarily) what I already have in my 22 original Syn1 synth content path (which I plan to delete), it eliminates all dependencies. So, in the end I will be able to uninstall/delete all of my original Syn1 installation. I have spent my entire working life as an IT guy, so this sort of stuff comes naturally ...
  5. Don't see why you couldn't delete the Syn 1. That's exactly what I plan to do! The only thing that might be an issue is if you are still using SampleTank 3. The Syn1 instruments are ST3 based, and it won't play with Syn2. I have added a unique content path for Syntronik 2 and all new Syn2 installs are going in there. So when I say bye bye to Syn1, I'm not expecting any dependencies. I do plan to backup any presets and multis I created in Syn1 so that I can copy them over to Syn2.
  6. That's the plan as far as I can tell!

  9. 93 left to 30 free about 3 hours ago. It's now 58 to 30 free. Things are certainly picking up!!!
  10. I know it's been talked about for eons, LOL! ? But Bulent has recently stated on the KVR forum that he is really planning to put his focus on v3 going forward. He has been trying to get these final updates to v2 out the door, but some last minute hot fixes were necessary. He also has spent some time with recent versions aligning the tech between SM One and SM2 with shared components, so that under the hood backward compatibility will work in v3. Not to mention the black hole that Apple created with its new requirement for M1 compatibility. That sucked up a lot of development time due to cross platform requirements.. I think he is the only developer at the company, so it's a one man show! Patience, grasshopper!
  11. SynthMaster 3 will have 16 layers, plus granular synthesis, and a wavetable editor. Plus it will be able to open a SynthMaster One preset as a SM3 layer! Don't mind waiting...
  12. No problem. The KVR forum is the only official public place other than the Facebook group (ugh!) that the KV331 Audio developer usually post new announcements, so I keep an eye on it.
  13. OK, I stand corrected! I did not yet compare line by line, so I was just judging at by the presence of the Richard Devine banks in a few of them. But there do seem to be a few unique banks in your list for MS-20 and Monopoly. M1, Wavestation, and Legacy cell appear to be additions as well, but their browsers are a bit "legacy", and so it's hard to tell what's already installed in them.

  15. These banks were all available in my existing synth installs via the KORG Software Pass...
  16. Amplitube 5 takes some CPU horsepower, even with a fairly recent computer. Not an effect you are likely to put on every track.

  18. Already got the Bioshock Collection in my GOG account, but what the heck, now I have 2 copies... FYI, since these are remastered older games, the DLC is apparently baked into them. 19. Sorry, Epic did not provide a time zone in their deal... but I did post the deal a couple days ago with "ending soon" in the title.
  20. You must check the box in the KH installer "Show preview versions" to see this update.
