  1. Yes. I went to the Oslo Opera in April, watching/hearing Rigoletto by Verdi. It was a great experience. I'm off to see Carmen by Bizet on June the 24th. in the same place. I found out that Tool was playing an hour away from my house the same day they played 2 weeks or so ago, but had no tickets.

    Catatonic

Thanks, John! The thing you're hearing is probably my low vocal, singing an octave below the lead voice. There's no special effect on that vocal, besides reverb and delay. I usually double track verse vocals, and triple track choruses and bridges. All the best.
  3. Hi. When I had my RME UCX, I connected my POD HD 500 via spdif, using half of an old school Hi-Fi cable (red and white for connecting devices to amp/receiver). I had no issues with degradation of the sound using simple cables as that. My RME UFX doesn't have spdif, so need to find an spdif to AES cable to connect it digitally. For now, 2 jacks... All the best.
  4. I'm working on a 7 minutes long song now. I could let it fade out for another 3 minutes?

    Thanks mate!

    Never new mix

New mix is up with a bit more vocals, and a touch of 1.2 and 3.2 kHz boost on the verse guitar.
  7. I don't see this on my end, in Norway. I had to re enter my credentials, but logged straight in to both IK PM and CS. All the best.

Thanks for another listen, and feedback John. I will check to see if the vocals are where they should be. The slap on the kick is as you say, for listeners with phones etc. I was also told the verse guitar needs a little 1 kHz, so will do those things together. All the best.

A new mix is up, as I've gotten some more feedback at another forum, and tried to remedy those suggestions I got there. All the best.

    20 +

Congrats on 20 years! And have a good trip. All the best.
  12. Wow, that is big praise indeed. Thanks for listening and the very positive feedback, Larry. All the best.
  13. I am in the same situation mate. The UAD plugins I want/need (minus the SSL Bus Compressor, which I don't REALLY need). I do have all the Softube plugins I want for my Console 1, and Izotope, Waves, PA, etc. plugins. After last years IK group buy, I filled my cup for a long time. It has to be something special for it to peak my interest. I still come here every day though.

Thanks for listening and positive feedback, John. I'm not really sure which genre it is, to be honest. All the best.

Thanks for listening and feedback, Jack. For this song I used Amplitube Metal Clean T (left side) and JCA 100H (right side) for the high gain geetarz. All the best.

    Never new mix

A new mix is up. I got some feedback in another forum that the choruses and bridges lacked separation and clarity, and that the snare was too thin. I have tried to fix those things as best I could. This is an old song of mine, I finally got around to recording and mixing. Feedback is appreciated. NEVER Verse 1: You tell me that I don't see the things I ought to see. My vision of the world's not the same that it's for you. Bridge: Verse 2: You don't want me to think, 'cause you think that part is yours. My free mind's not a part of the part you planned for me. Chorus: Never! I will not be you. Never! Verse 3: You say my life's an illusion, 'cause I don't see your truth. Well I prefer my illusions, before I see your truth. No! Chorus 2: Verse 4: You always wanted to change me into something I'm not. I alwasys had my own life, still you want me to be like you. Chorus 3: Bridge 2: Solo: I will! Chorus 4:
  20. Hi. I have one of these, and use it with Studio One, with macro's I've made for the most used tracks, instruments, plugins etc. I'm up to 4 or 5 pages now. It is a great time saver for me, and I also have the Cakewalk "package" I bought. It is however not as deeply integrated as it is in Studio One, due to macro's. All the best.
  21. @Shane_B. I didn't check the link you provided properly, and found out that I have another Tripleplay than the one he used in your vidoe. This is the video that sold me on the Fishman Tripleplay: https://fb.watch/cW8bnyAYAn/
  22. That video was the tipping point for me when getting it. I got mine 2nd hand, and "had to" get a license for Synthmaster, to use it in standalone mode, which I never do. I've got some of the EW libraries, espesially made for it, and it's fun to play. I mostly use it as a regular MIDI device, triggering any synth I feel like. All the best.
  23. Thanks for listening and feedback, mate. All the best.
  24. Thanks for listening, and the positive feedback, Andy. All the best.
  25. Hi. Perhaps not what you're looking for, but I use a Fishman Tripleplay for playing MIDI with (one of) my guitar(s). https://www.fishman.com/portfolio/tripleplay-wireless-midi-guitar-controller/ It's not perfect, but it does what I need it to do. All the best.
