My go to amp sims these days, and past year are S-Gear (now v.3) and Amplitube 5 (with most of the amps, cabs and stomps). I've also started using Softube Amp Room lately, when layering geetarz.

Fingers crossed that he'll make his way back home to us again ?

I was just following the instructions... ... ...

Is that amp any good? -
Get well soon, Greg ?

It's a bit strange, I agree. I (as an example, and being from Norway) always buy directly from Toontrack, using Swedish currency when there are deals. That always gives me a better price than buying from any international store using $,£ or €. All the best.

Hi. I'm actually working on a balled of mine, that will not contain shouting/screaming at all. Acoustic geetar, SD3 (as always), some lead el geetarz, some strings & choirs and vox. Doing a bit of softly shouting at Mike after this cig break (always a good idea for "singers" ). Not trying to hit high notes today, so should be good to go ? And it's a 3+ minutes song, not my usual 5-7 mins. All the best.

Thanks for listening (several times ?) and the positive feedback, Steve. Never been compared to them before, I think. But a good one to be in the same vibe as All the best.

Thanks for listening and feedback, Jesse. (They always find a way...) All the best.

Thanks for listening and feedback, Tom. A new mix is up with some changes, incl. a more prominent snare. All the best.
-
I tried it on a random plugin, and it would not let me use it.
-
Thanks mate! I was told elsewhere that the kick and snare was almost missing, so Am trying to fix that.

I'm a creature of habit, so Console 1 (with most compatible plugins for it, both UAD and Softube) is my main mixing "system". Beyond that, I mostly use 3rd party plugins I know how to get a decent sound (I'm after) quickly. I always use stock compressors for side-chaining though. All the best.

I'd use my part to get as many sessions for CR at Sunset sound, just to get the odds and ends we might have missed ( ).

This is a song I have tried to finish several times, but gave up/forgot, called Voices. Feedback is appreciated. All the best.

Does having long hair make you a better musician?

I started shaving my head when I was 21, as it wasn't much left on top by then. I should have done it a year or two before... Have done it for 30 years now, and it has not improved my musical status the least. -
Hi. I only have SSD's used actively in my studio pc (6) for both software and samples. I started the transition 5 or so years ago, and have replaced my HD's for SSD's, and have had no issues with them. I have a few external HD's that I use for storage of downloads and stuff (incl music software, libraries etc.). All the best.

I've more or less stopped using un-rezisable plugins, running a resolution of 3440x1440 (34.5" with 21x9 layout). But it seems clearer on my monitor, with more contrast than previous.

Just pure luck on my part.

This is just me, but I'd try 2 and 2 buttons while turning it on until I found the correct pair. I suspect they will be next to each other. I can't see that it should/could damage the Mackie, just trying it out. All the best.

I noticed that all my Softube plugins (Volume 5), with the exception of Trident A Range had an update ready for me. I have not gotten any email regarding this (yet). Run Softube Central to update. All the best.

Parctise, pcratise, partcies.

Hi. I found this video showing that you have to push 2 buttons while turning it on. Hope it helps. All the best

Hi. I would also take a look at Softube's Console emulations: https://www.softube.com/products I love the British Class A (Neve) for vocals, bass and guitar. It has a broad strokes Eq, but a musical one, and a great compressor. The American Class A (API) is also very good. The Summit has a gentle tone to it, but with some vibe. The Tube Tech is based on its original Danish design, and has a little bit "modern" and "glossy" sound to it. The Chandler also sounds very good. None of these are cheap, but they offer Demo's for all their products, so I would check them out, if you find it interesting. All the best.
