I recently went to an audiologist to have my hearing checked. Even though with the work I do (potential for loud noise) they have my hearing checked somewhat regularly, I never had a test like that one. I mean I did the beeps with the trigger before, but she did a much better job. And she found for my age my hearing wasn't as bad as my wife makes it out to be. Some loss around 2-3k in right ear. But more in the same range in my left ear. She was sure I had some type of accident in my left ear. But I don't remember anything. So she said go have it checked to make sure all is OK. In the meantime she said wear these, it will help your wife.

I think we are being monitored. I may be wrong... but just in case I thought I would give you a heads up. The PAM is being cautious.
-
So your now the official PAM!!

@Bapu After running kick and snare through Distressor do you also run them through the drum buss and the Heritage? Or you keep them separate? BTW, nice setup.

I am guessing your remembering a free program? There are some that do it like IK's ARC (AUto Room Correction) or Sonix Checking with Gemi, it found this: The undisputed champion of free room correction software is REW (Room EQ Wizard). It's a powerful tool that provides a deep dive into your room's acoustics. Opens in a new window www.roomeqwizard.com Room EQ Wizard software Key features of REW: Comprehensive measurement capabilities Detailed analysis of frequency response, impulse response, and waterfall plots Ability to generate EQ filters for various purposes Flexibility to export filters for use with other software However, REW requires a steeper learning curve compared to commercial options. It's more suited for users who enjoy tinkering with audio settings. Other Free Options While not as feature-rich as REW, these options might be worth considering: Holm Impulse: Primarily for impulse response measurements but can be used for basic frequency response analysis. RePhase: Focuses on phase correction and can be used in conjunction with REW for more advanced users.

Yep. My feeling too!! Yes, same maker. They make a Baritone guitar. It's called the Samari it's the first one at the top of that page. And look at toward the bottom of the page and they show pics of the guitars being created. Here is the Baritone in action:

Yes. No doubt as your example shows. But I thought your tone was good too!! Even over my BS cheap ***** speakers!! You should. I know you know your crowd, but I can see myself just sitting and enjoying a meal, listening, and swaying my head to the tempo.

If your going in that direction and are happy with the plugins you have installed and use... then keep doing that I say!! Trimming my installed plugins is on my to-do list. I have already done that (to a very large extent) on my Surface 9. I have all my AAS stuff, most of my Cakewalk stuff, all my Waves, Melda, Ujam and Toontrack plugins. That's a very small list compared to what I do have.

I find them unique and pleasing. I mean, to me they are not fugly!
-
Never hear of them either. And yes, it is a catchy name!!

OK, I 'm needing to get the net out...

Great sax solo. And I can hear the expressions your talking about. But the guitar solo, what controller were you using? I am guess the WX? It has that 'sax' quality to it that guitars have been trying to imitate!! So it would seem that the quality of the synth module determines how real it sounds. Because the WX offers so many options, it's up to the player how to use them.

Thanks for that info. That will be file for later use.

Boy you guys... never let a opportunity go by!! LOL!!!

Yep. Forgot about that. The outlook not long ago was that crypto would peak soon and demand for graphics card would go back to normal. Since that time, there have been at least 3 or 4 new crypto's that will eventually become mainstream like bitcoin. So that peak hasn't happened yet. It (the peak) may never happen the way things look.
-
Can you still get the response from these controllers that you can get from a reed?
-
That's exactly right. At one time we may have dominated, but that was long ago. Young people today don't have a desktop. They use their phone. And the numbe rof sales for desktops are slowing.

Pics! I know you put your guitar on there to change the strings!! .

We call this the hole!! Once you go in... ya never come out!!

Ya gotta tell me about that job!!

The neck. I did a lot of sanding to the neck. I wanted it to have a “well played” feel to it. So I thinned the Tru Oil with Mineral Spirits so that the wood would suck it in real good. And again, after each coat I would sand with 0000 steel wool. I didn’t count how many coats I put on the neck. But it was a lot. I was really happy with the end product. The neck has that well played feel. It has a silky feel that I like. I did have some scaring in places on the fret board where I did my learning when smoothing the fret ends. You wouldn’t notice anything, but I can see it. In fact I sent @mettelus some pics of the ‘damage’ and he said it wasn’t as bad as I made it out to be. But I notice it! And that brings me to the next phase. The more I played it, the more I loved the sound. But I couldn't get comfortable with the fret board. Couldn't put my finger on it at first, but realized after much playing and comparing, the fretboard radius is too flat. Found out it has 16" radius. I am use to a guitar with more curve than that. SO... I started searching for a new neck. And let me state again, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Seriously. It was like I jumped off the deep end. The real deep end!!

Sorry for some of the large pics. I tried to right click them and shrink them but it wouldn't work on my Surface9. I did fix that nut. Repaired the chunk of wood that had broke off. If you saw it you wouldn't know it ever was broke. Put a Tusq nut with Tusq String Trees. I want to replace all my Strat style guitars with the type of nut. Works really well. I can use the tremolo bar moderately and it stays in tune. Also when tuning I never hear that 'ping'. I also bought some new pups for it, new CTS pots with Orange drop caps, an cloth wiring. All that made a huge difference in the sound and response. She really has a great response with the silky Strat sound that I love. While I was doing all that extra work, I went ahead and put some cooper shielding all though the pup cavity and on the backside of the pick guard. It works really well.

@Starship Krupa I have no idea what the body is. The neck is of the same wood. It's has Indian Laurel for the fretboard.
