I love me some soft boiled eggs!! Just had one a little while ago.

If you don't have the Abbey Road stuff, any of it is worth the $23. R56, TG1234, AR Plates, ADT, they all good!

Yes the API's are nice. All of them. Drum busses love 'em

Yes, sad day for a monument like that to be gone after surviving so much. -
BUGS and BIGS ISSUES EXPLAINED IN THIS VIDEO
Grem replied to Jaime RamÃrez's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
The first problem he has, I know James (forgot his handle) complained about this very thing many times. But could never find reproducible steps. It happened to him many times. It has happened to me once or twice, but like the guy in the video, I thought I did something until I saw James posts. The space bar thing has happened to me also. But it's no biggie to me. It mostly happens on my Surface Pro, so I think it's system related. I don't remember it happening on my Music PC. I did have the PC missing plugins. But it wasn't a big fix and I don't even remember what I did to fix it. Something simple, not all the stuff he went through. I think plugins are getting more CPU intensive. I am still running my system on a i7 2600k. On DDR3! So I don't think CbB is using more CPU power to run now. It was a good video Jaime. Haven't seen a farewell video before! Hope you good luck and well wishes. -
Yep, most of my browser loops go through the Preview buss. With midi clips, there is also an option to route them to whatever synth you have in the project. I have had a trk quit responding to commands. I have reported it, but I can never get steps to reproduce it, which makes it difficult to fix. If you ever get some reproducible steps, report it!! They will fix it if we could figure it out. : ) And the workaround you use is what I found works best. Just give it up and move on!!

Jesse, if you want trk notes, which I am starting to use more and more, there is a place in the Inspector under the Trk tab that has a place for notes on that trk. I put what the signal routing and instrument/mic used to record the trk. See it below Description.

Has to be some type of on-board do-dad because I don't think there are that many possibilities with only two single coil pick-ups! I'd like to play it for sure. Looks like low frets too!

AMD has been quiet about the date, but speculation is around May/Jun if they hold to past behavior patterns. And it's rumured to be 7nm! I think it's the server chips to be 7nm with speculation being the consumer version will be sometime later this year.

You think it has something to do with birds? ?

And here I thought you were serious!! : )

I sang live for years with a SM58. That is one tough a$$ mic!! I also used a Beta 58 for a while. Then I got an AT4040 and I like the way I sound on it. I also have an MXL ? that I haven't used yet.

I understand that. What I am thinking is for my use, I don't need those single digit latency numbers. Most of my recording is done with direct monitoring, so I don't need to go in/out the box at break-neck speeds! : ) Let me make clear, I am waiting to see what the word will be on the new Ryzen Zen 2 (third gen). I know the 2 gen Ryzen chips didn't quite make the cut for a DAW. They were a big improvement over the gen before, but still not up to the task (I am referring to 'bang-for-buck' single core performance).
-
If all I am doing is recording, I have no problem CPU wise. But I don't use fx in the box. WHen I get CPU bound is when I start mixing and loading the plugins up!! I use a lot more than I did when I built this system. Ran it for years at stock speed. I am still waiting to see how AMD will do in a DAW system. Not enough users with the new Ryzen chips yet. None that I know in fact. Kinda waiting on @Jim Roseberry to give his thoughts on the second generation of Ryzen CPU's in a DAW.
-
I have read that AMD's new generation of CPU's are much better at single core performance. Which makes the 'bang-for-buck' performance ratio much better than before. Is Intel still the fastest for Single core performance? Yep. But the gap between i7 and Threadripper single core performance doesn't make the money you spend for that performance difference worth it. Or at the very least, not as appealing. I'm still running my 2600K! It's overclocked, but still got it going.

Great song by Kansas.

Agree with Larry on this one. The Stealth is really good and clean. However, this Lindell 254E is a really great sounding plugin. (I like all of Lindell's stuff because they sound really good.) It has character for sure. But it's the really good kind. Reminds me of Waves' Abbey Road stuff with the good sound.

I must have missed this one. Haven't seen it before. I like Boz stuff. At that price, I grabbed it.
