I haven't got to that point Kenni. But I have mixed audio with midi synths and it's working as I said, flawlessly. But you do raise a valid question. Later on I will give a try and get back to ya. -
There is no longer any official support for Sonar products. The best suggestion were to upgrade to Cakewalk by Bandlab.

Been playing around with this feature and it's the real deal. Works flawlessly. Haven't had a problem with it yet.

Been having Twisted for a while, hardly ever use it. But when you need that unique sound, give it a try. At that price it's a good deal.

Really enjoying the new Arranger feature. Have been playing around with it on several songs that I am working on and found that no matter how much I shift the sections around, playback is always smooth. No glitches, no gaps, just like it was playing linearly on the timeline. Fantastic job Devs!! What I love is that it has the option to save more than one or two arrangements. These saved arrangements can be recalled at the drop of a hat!! Sweet! It also has the option to Export the arrangement to audio, so IOW I can have lots of different arrangements exported to files, bring them with me when I go travel and listen to each version and decide which I like better. All this before commiting to a single thing!! Very sweet. This feature is well thought out, well implemented, and a very welcomed addition to our favorite DAW!! I am gonna use the heck out of this one!! -
Nice instrumental. I enjoyed that.

Agree with Lynn, too much treble over all for me. Great tune, good version. Good vocal performance.- 11 replies

Grabbed this one quick!!

Well I missed it. No longer there.

Me either. But I have been around long enough to remember the 8.5 crew!! : ) Starship Krupa makes some valid points. With all the updates, to some it may not seem like a big deal, but from where Sonar was to where CbB is today is like night and day to me and my workflow. If nothing else the major reworking and getting it right with Take Lanes was like a dream come true for me! I could live with just that update to an existing feature. But it's not the only one. I have no idea what they devs have in store for the upcoming months, but I will bet it will be a useful new feature, or a much improved existing feature!!

And a good deal!

This is a good deal. All these plugins are really top notch. For someone on a budget and new to the world of plugins, this would be a great starter pack. And you get Cosmos and Magnetic II! Wow! Those two plugins are a good deal for the asking price!
-
Good catch!! And thanks for posting before he fixed it!!! I got a good laugh out of that!!
-
It's weird like that!!
-
Regular price $349!!? I wasn't far off. I said $500

@Peter - IK Multimedia That guy is a beast!!
-
Maybe I can help out and do the same. I have a VS100. Great little unit that I really love.
-
Much better than the VS. At least they will support the Apollo for a long time to come. The poor VS just... didn't have a real chance.
-
Very nice gesture.

I was thinking of the BF sales as THE best way. But was wondering if there was some kind of walk around like TTF was talking about. For the price I may get this and then wait. Been reluctant to get this because there is always something on sale/new/gotta have for Kontakt! I figured I would make myself stick with IK ST stuff. I still might do that.
-
What's the best/cheapest way to get Kontakt full? They want $400 for it on the NI website.
-
@kitekrazy I have often thought what my family will do with all these damn plugins I bought!! There is just a handful I consistently use over and over, EZ Drummer and Keys, Jamstix, Abbey Road Plates, C1, stuff like that. But do I regularly use all of them? There's no way I could. : )

I do have several Behringer comps and my old ART SX mounted in those rack legs if you know what I mean. But right now I don't have them hooked up. I may not hook them back up. Depends on how I figure out the way my work flow will go with the new Apollo. Speaking of organization... I swore I would not let my studio degenerate into the state that I find it in today. I got to get it back in order!
