I believe Cakewalk even has a Focusrite Scarlet in the house for testing purposes. 

I ended up buying a year subscription last month.

It does look like it will be fun to play with. Hope and prayers I figure the ins and outs ?

I brought Pigment 3 last night.  Figured it is more up my alley to play with.  Of course I will have to buy the Stranger Synths sound pack too for the small price. My daughters are "dad that show is just so '80's "    Yes it is!  Anyway it looks like it will be a fun toy to play with.  My wife plays games on her phone and I play with synths!

@kevin H  Thanks. The more I think of it Pigment seems the better choice for me to get between the two. Especially since tracktion seems to have sales more often.

It does sound cool. Too many toys and not, I repeat, not enough time in the day

Would you spend the $99 on this or Pigment 3?

@Esteban Villanova  I didn't say I was replacing CbB.  Just thought I should expand my knowledge.  For my humble needs CbB has worked very well. I don't think I push the audio engine that much with my projects.  Reaper and I have been the couple that you always see arguing and should separate but don't never do.  ?      I guess that I started with Cakewalk in the Twelve-Tone days  and found it fine for my needs.

Cool! I didn't know that.  I'm getting a new 2n1 laptop next month and plan to install Reaper on it and spend time with it every night for a month at least to finally see if I can get along with the beast LOL
