  1. Only for the first 200 customers and for a short time: Popstalgic by Echo Sound Works for $1. Popstalgic is a Serum soundbank containing 55 presets that recreate some famous pop synth sounds. As you can hear from the demos on the website, the resemblance to the original is striking. Also: 40% off everything with code CYBER23
  2. The user interface feels outdated but it still sounds good to me. I hardly use it though. Because I don't like the user interface. His or her next soundbank will be for Arturia CS80V. Some bladerunner type thing.
  3. https://www.a-grade-audio.com/shop I've never heard of this sound designer before and judging by the YouTube channel the shop must be fairly new, like only a month old or so. However, the soundbanks are currently half price, only until today, I believe. I just bought Ultimate Retrowave for Serum, 100 patches for only $6.45. The demo already seemed quite convincing and as I'm currently testing the soundbank in my DAW I must say, this was a very good deal for me. Exactly what I was looking for.
  4. Professional to the core in everything they do.
  5. When you subscribe to their newsletter you get a 20% voucher that you can stack with the 50% voucher. I wish I had noticed that before buying two soundbanks. Nevermind, I'll buy two more.
  6. Yes, I read the error message. The thing is: I'm not going to do that. Because I'm currently learning to program in Python and I want to keep the latest version. He should have compiled it so that it runs on any environment. But of course, you can't complain when it's free. If it runs without problems on your machines, let us know if the results are good.
  7. It didn't really work for me. When I started the program I got some error messages: It would still launch the program and allow me to convert my wav files but the resulting presets didn't sound like the wav files at all.
  8. Nice. I find it strange that they don't have a link to the cart in the top menu. After navigating around for a while I had no idea how to get from the shop's overview to the cart. I had to go to a product and from there, next to the "Add to cart" button I found the "View cart" link.
  9. Has anyone tried it yet? Are the results good? If yes, it's crazy to give it away for free. It'd be worth a thousand soundbanks.
  10. Do you know why Arturia's soundbank "Kavinsky Tribute" is called "Kavinsky Tribute" but the soundbank "Starcadian Signature" isn't called "Starcadian Tribute"? It's because the Starcadian soundbank is actually created by Starcadian. The addition of the word "Tribute" makes it very clear that it's an homage and not actually by the artist mentioned. Big difference. Also, you'll notice that none of the Synthmaster soundbanks carry the name of any famous artist in the title. They give the name of the sound designer who created it, followed by something generic like "Pop Hits Volume 3", "EDM Expansion 5". They don't call it "Lady Gaga's soundbank deluxe"
  11. Nice. I like free. It's like an eighth of their Eight Voice, isn't it? As far as I know the Oberheim Eight Voice basically consists of eight connected SEMs. So, if I already have Cherry Audio Eight Voice, is there any advantage of also having SEM? Less CPU load perhaps, but apart of that?
  12. It wasn't created by Rush themselves though, or was it? I doubt the sound designer even has permission to use their name for advertising. This gives cheap cover band vibes. Rush isn't even trendy at all, so I don't see how this being a "Rush pack" in bold letters makes the deal better. That only makes it niche and less likely for people to want it. If it was a "Purple Disco Machine" pack, created by Purple Disco Machine themselves, maybe that would justify those prices.
  13. Like Solidos said, this looks like self-advertising. But regardless, this doesn't look like a good deal at all. First of all, I've never heard of the VST Academy, so no reputation bonus. Then I can get way more presets from my favorite sound designers for way less. Oblivion Sound Lab, Synth Ctrl, Tonepusher, Mike OST, ... At Patchbay I can even get preset packs that were created by well known music producers that I have on my Spotify playlists, each for less than 20$ at regular price.
  14. 39$ for 50 presets? And they call that a sale? I love their optimism. Good luck ?
  15. That explains how you can afford all that software. ?
  16. Antares gave it away for free already once. Didn't even have to buy anything. I've never used it. But it looks good on my Google Drive collection list.
  17. not adding "with any purchase" to the title should be forbidden by law ☹️
  18. Why within the next three days? Where does it say that? You also get the upgrade cheaper with the code. 68€ from MSoundFacotry LE.
  19. The advent calendar is in the Beat magazine. The discount code for Zoom P4 is on page 69.
  20. I have bad luck with freebies lately. I already own this. If you mean all downloads, including the downloads for all the back issues, no. People who buy a single issue only have access to the downloads for that issue.
  21. I got myself a Readly trial. 2 months for 2€. In some countries you can even get a free trial, I believe.
  22. 50$ is for the Ethera Gold 2.5 Vocal Edition. There are some coupons to get upgrades cheaper. One would think that they'd send those to their customers via email. You can try some of these: EG25VEUP-110 ETHERALOYALTY ETHSS2UP EG25LITEUP
  23. According to the flood of newsletters I get, we still have a few hours. I'm not stressed at all. Not a little bit.
  24. Thank you. That does make me feel better indeed.
