Too true. I really don't want another installer on my computer to increase the bloat. Especially if they don't allow you to select where to install them and especially if they install **** on random folders in the systems drive anyway. Just let me download the plugin, install it where I want, keep it contained and control the activation from the web (or better yet, just make it a simple serial without draconian online checks and hardware prints or having to email the developer to deactivate or reset the activations.) Not that I'm constantly activating/deactivating plugins anyway but if I were to do a system reset and start clean, the process of uninstalling/deactivating/etc is gonna be a major pain and a timesinker.

Same. I've spent some but my mind has definitely been less active on reading deals and most of all, less active on acting up on them. I guess a lot of the deals as of late haven't really triggered the 'dontthinkaboutit' part of the brain and thus not as much impulse buys anymore. I hope, I really hope, that I've also come to the realization that unless it's a really good deal, I don't need another EQ or whatever. I think I've also been soured by some of the holiday deals where I could have gotten a better deal had I waited a month or two. There also hasn't been that many price glitches as of late or they've been patched out before being able to act.

Spitfire Audio extra 30% off on top of summer sale
Kirean replied to Yan Filiatrault's topic in Deals
Damn. Looks like this ended yesterday? I was in a broken state of mind ready to part with my money. But money saved I guess. -
Had Battalion in my cart some hours ago but went onto do other things. Ah well. Saved 40 bucks for later.

Spitfire Audio extra 30% off on top of summer sale

Thank gods or whatever that it doesn't apply to bundles or I would have been mighty pissed (having bought one of them already). -
Was interested as well, but historical low two years ago seems to be 19.80 euros (vs 26.10 eur @ vstbuzz). Not sure if it was one off intro pricing or something, though.

Yeah. Kinda hoped they'd reverted back to iLok but doesn't seem like it.
-
I thought Moog got rid of ilok activations with their latest versions in order to push their own drm.
-
Have they said anything about making the UI bigger?

I used to use ACDSee's image viewer in the 90s. Stopped using it when it took first steps into bloat in the early 2000s. For the longest time I've now been using Faststone Image Viewer (which is freeware, doesn't really offer photo editing though).

Should be 90-95% off seeing how the 70-80% seem to be the usual normal prices. While I like the libraries I've got from them, the suggested retail prices are insane.

Does anyone know how much it would cost to "upgrade" to Sine if you buy the Kontakt first? -

make sure you use get-inspired75 without the dot at the end. -
You can buy Frostbite 2 for ~30+ bucks and then get another copy of the same plugin as a freebie... Sometimes these sales make a lot of sense.

But I had money with your name on it ? (despite mom telling me not to spend it all on "those virtual toys".)
-
Nah. I've basically only bought directly from UVI in the recent months, yet nada.
-
Where the fudgepuppet is my voucher?! Stop treating me like my ex-wife, UVI.

Dibs on MS-20.
-
Dammit. I'm in the $99 upgrade camp. $49 would have been instabuy.

Wedge Force stuff is $9.99 Not sure if that's a price error, but don't think they've ever been as low. Of course, it's another question whether or not they're worth 10 bucks.
