I used to depend on coffee but I came to find that the crash outweighed the energy boost. For me, the caffeine crash brought out some anxious feelings. Like an "equal and opposite reaction" to the caffeine high. I much prefer the steadier state of mind I have now. I'm 53 and as long as I take my vitamins & minerals and dont eat junk food, my energy level is usually fine.
