  1. It's probably free to help provide feedback for his product to help him make it better.
  2. You know that it's going to get leaked here for the non-subscribers.
  3. Did cclarry create a topic just for someone named "Sampleson". Then I come here and see it's not a person ?
  4. Dang it! I thought for a minute there y'all was advertising Mario Paint!
  5. Plus, the Cableguys patience is not much. A friend of mine sent emails to them about product issues, and eventually they told him to keep his money. ? So, if they don't wish to address product issue problems, or be helpful in product improvements, then it's another reason not to buy Shaperbox.
  6. Your right, I do buy projects I installed most times. There's more reasons not to buy this product than meets the eye. Shaperbox has a lot of product problems. Like, you can't change any of the numbers using a keyboard. Everything is mouse based. There's some numbers the mouse won't let you get... Like the 9khz issue discussed in another post. I have stopped using Shaperbox. I will most likely uninstall it soon as it just takes up space. Shaperbox sounds really nice and all... but the complexity of using it is probably best for sound designers whom have the time to tinker. I would rather just get into making music right away, instead of tinkering for hours and hours. Yes they have presets, but I also hardly use presets. I am creative with my instruments and effects, but not too the extreme like Shaperbox. I figure, in order to use Shaperbox effectively, you'll need to learn everything. I mean everything on how it works, before you actually start using it. It's kind of like iZotope Stutter Edit 2, which I regrettably bought. Once I got into it, it's just too complex and I don't want to invest hundreds of hours learning it. Good thing I only bought it for $10. Imagine those whom paid $199!!
  7. I think they give you a discount for the Shaperbox, but why buy it? There's unlimited usage demo version. You can only have 5 instances of it. It doesn't save anything everytime you load it... I am currently looking for a plugin or software that would "read" ram and save it...then load it into ram. Currently all the software and DAWs I know of "asks" the plugin to save it's own state, but I don't know of any software that can actually save a plugin state without the plugin needing to save it's own state. I know it can be done, windows does this when it hibernates. It dumps RAM into a file and reloads it back into RAM on boot up.
  8. They listed QuickMuse for $9, but when you click it... It says $49! Did they forget the 4?
  9. I wonder if they'll do it for $29 again? Today it was $64-25% discount... Doesn't beat $29. I don't need it, so I'll wait.
  10. So, I was looking at Meric A/B (which isn't on a huge sell), Mastering The Mix Reference 2 (sell isn't big either), and MCompare which currently has the best sale price. I found out thru some research that MCompare can do something that neither of these other plugins can do, which is compare FX plugins. In other words, you can put two MCompare on the same track, sit a few FX plugins in between, and listen to the difference between the two MCompare sessions! It's not an advertised feature, at least as far as I can tell. The only thing I hate about MCompare as of right now is the inability to highlight the spectrum of frequencies you want to focus on... They do have a high and low cut filter, but those are boring knobs. I still hate the way the interface looks, but I'm sure they do that in order to focus more on the pressing matter at heart (the audio). Overall, after 1.5 years of debating, I'm finally set on one of these plugins and MCompare wins, despite my distaste for the appearance of the plugin, its features out weight all the other plugins for the price it is currently on sell. Even if the other plugins was to drop to this price level, MCompare would still win, unless those other plugins add the FX comparing feature to thier list of what they can do. After you add MCompare to the cart, go to check out and add FORUM code to get that discount price at JRRSHOP. https://www.jrrshop.com/meldaproduction-mcompare
  11. Dang it! Mcompare is what I'm looking for right now. It's on sale for $25 and some change at JRRSHOP, but I've never known it to be as low as $12.
  12. The great thing was all the give aways they've had over the years. I found a plugin, I've never used or needed, but now that I need something, it was one of their freebie plugins "MetaFilter", that I found that I needed because I couldn't find a tempo based gating plugin that I would want to buy. I actually own that filter...lol. It was a freebie, so I never really gave it a chance, until now. I saved money because I don't need to buy a plugin anymore so, lesson learned. Don't ever throw away a plugin just because you've not found a use for it. Someday, you might find you need it, and when you actually find you own something you need, then you are so much more happy It's better to own something and not need it than to need something and not have it.
  13. Yeah, have you seen the prices? They jacked up the prices once again. I guess if you want to buy any of their products, they've made it known that Xmas time is the best time of year for the lowest prices. Wait till the end of the year or find something else.
  14. I guess that home went over my head... Wasn't Dan Rather a news guy or something?
  15. There's more numerical numbers that get skipped, but I needed 9 khz and that's how I found I couldn't get that! It's a huge issue in thier plugin! Thier answer in thier videos is to use shift + mouse, but that doesn't work either! It's a obvious bug.
  16. No. I tried to email Cableguys this issue as they requested that I do, but not word for word they said "no comment for feature requests" as a reply to my email. I requested they create a way to hit the enter key on the keyboard, then be able to directly edit the numerical numbers. I was shutdown fairly quickly at that request and told to never email questions again.
  17. I don't know about $250.. That's allot compared to $12 for Distrokid. RouteNote says it's handled by several streaming services and won't cost anything unless I wanted to play it in the USA, and a few other locations where there's a copyright law, then I'd have to get a mechanical license. Swipe said "several stabbing services" LOL... I almost forgot to edit that out! Yes, stabbing services is what streaming services should be called! Other than licensing, just curious how far I can change the song, before it comes too far. I've read, tempo, style, key can be changed. I've even heard you can change the gender of the song. From HIM to HER. I thought though, you'd need special permission to change those lyrics? There's so much to think about.
  18. Hi, I was thinking of lengthening a cover song by adding a instrumental break using the same melody as the song where there is no instrumental break. The song sits around 2 minutes and 19 seconds. I want to lengthen it to about 3 to 3.5 minutes by adding a instrumental break before the last chorus ending and also I plan to slow the tempo down of the song. I wonder if this would be legally okay or not? All suggestions welcome!
  19. When I think about the word Fleer, I think about the old baseball cards I collected over the years.
  20. So there's not fixes or feature update on this? It's just ... Hey we updated the version number to make you think about updating?
  21. What's the update do for WLM and Plus?
  22. I want to do cover songs for songs that don't have cover songs You know... Be the first to do a cover song on a artist that doesn't have very many streams. Doing cover songs on huge artists doesn't get anywhere much, cause usually there's a ton of other people doing covers on huge artists too!
  23. Reilka xt is a reverb and I own it from Komplete 14 Standard. (Edit) never used it in a song. Tried to, but, blah!
