  1. I love Expanse 3d, Nanopulse, Cryostatis, Transmutator, and Hyperspace plugins from JMGSound except mirror. Mirror is a total waste of money. It's much better to do it manually rather than having this plugin try to do this for you. Just by 2 cents.
  2. Tom Frampton isn't very welcoming of feature requests. He hasn't updated this plugins in over 6 months. In RESO, I wanted a feature called "Calculate More Targets", but he told me I could add more targets with double clicking. I had to further explain, if I go to another part of the song and wish it to add more targets from a different part of the song with the current targets he completely ignores the suggestion altogether and goes straight to the next question: Is there a way to currently copy current targets and paste it into another RESO plugin? I was hoping to run a second instance of it, have that second instance listen to the other part, copy the targets from it and paste it into the one that I want more targets... His answer? "Yes, you can duplicate the plugin instance within your DAW. There is usually a key command of how to do this (which you can find for your DAW with a quick google search). You might like to use different instances of RESO for different sections of your mix, and automate them on and off." So, getting him to make any updates or changes to the software is not even possible. He finds a work around for you to use instead of saying of he will add it or not. although the work around for automation sounds pretty neat, it would have been nicer if he could add my feature Request. ?
  3. I'm still waiting on that deal for the H3000 err something like that.
  4. I'd love to see a scheme similar to Reaper. I don't mind to pay for the next whole version for Reaper. I started at version 6.99 and when Reaper gets to 7.99, I don't get no more upgrades unless I pay for it again. But then again, I don't create any commerical music. I just make music for non-commercial use, like showing off my music on YouTube without monetization. I forgo any monetization on YouTube. My music is free to listen to. A lot of content I create goes to creative commons. So .. Hopefully, there's a version for that?
  5. Would love to see the mathematical difference.
  6. Cclarry you own the website with Hornet Plugins?
  7. Here's how compression works in a plugin: Threshold: You set a threshold level. Any audio signal above this level will be compressed (reduced in volume), while signals below it remain unaffected. Ratio: The ratio determines how much the signal is reduced. For example, a 4:1 ratio means that for every 4 dB above the threshold, the output will only increase by 1 dB. Attack and Release: These settings control how quickly the compressor responds to changes in the audio signal. Attack is the time it takes for the compressor to start reducing the gain after the signal exceeds the threshold. Release is the time it takes for the compressor to stop reducing the gain after the signal falls below the threshold. Make-up Gain: After compression, the overall signal might be quieter. Make-up gain is used to bring the compressed signal back up to a desired level. Overall it's the manipulation of the volume of the signal... So you CAN do this with envelopes. You've seen Vocal Rider for Waves Audio... It's basically doing compression. You can do this to using envelopes or a midi with a knob.
  8. Compression involves dynamically increasing or decreasing the volume of an audio signal within each sample and this can be done using envelopes. Now, if someone doesn't want to do that and let a plugin do it for them.... Well that's another story.
  9. For "ducking vocals or instruments" I use FUSER by Mastering the Mix. It can transparently blend two tracks together using side chain AND it can auto detect the correct phase too! It's the only plugin I've found that can do this without you noticing that your "ducking" it, because FUSER does it on a frequency spectrum level. You should try out a demo for yourself I bought the FUSER and RESO combo when they was both on sale.
  10. Don't get me wrong, I do love Smart: Limiter and Smart:EQ 3, but Smart Comp 2 falls short of happy. Smart Comp 2 is just too transparent for my tastes. If I want that kind of compression, I could just use Smart Limiter and be done OR better yet, use volume envelopes in any DAW. I was really hoping for some magic with Smart Comp 2, but it didn't produce any magic on any of my songs and tracks. I tried various ones I was already using compression and replaced those with Smart Comp 2. No magic. Oh well. If you buy anything... Smart Limiter and Smart EQ 3 I highly recommend. (Smart EQ 4 is still buggy and will crash your PC if your PC is outdated like mine from Intel generation 6). They won't fix the issue because of how outdated my system is. I've already contacted them about it.
  11. Yeah… i oddly thought I was the only one to get this special voucher, but with you posting it….lol, I have been fooled to even think that!
  12. Code expires on August 31, 2024.
  13. Does Baby Audio pass Microsoft verification from SmartScreen?
  14. Stutter Edit 2 is complete trash. It wasn't worth the $10 I bought it for, let alone anyone pay the list price of $199! I own Shaperbox 3 and I can't replicate what Freezr can do. As I did try to use my Shaperbox to replicate it before buying with no success! Maybe a Shaperbox professional could do it, but I'm a novice and mainly bought Shaperbox for it's compression and ReverbShaper. ReverbShaper is the only reverb tool you'll ever need! I can create any reverb effect using it and import my own IRs! I don't touch anything that Baby Audio produces because it failed Microsoft verification. I gotten a few plugins from Melda Productions, but hardly ever use them. Maybe the Mutility for a track I need to turn from stereo to mono as a quick test, but that's all. 52 plugins I own of theirs and don't use any for actual production of music. The other companies I have no interest. There's my 2 cents.
  15. The price was so low, I went ahead to buy it. Tested it today, found a bug that crashes it. I’ll report it to them and hope they fix it. To replicate the bug, just click above the shaded box that you draw. Some reason it crashes it for me.
  16. https://audioplugin.deals/product/freezr-by-audiomodern/ I do enjoy thier free panflow and gatelab plugins, and was thinking of buying this one, but I don't create electronic music and none of the YouTube creators create non-eletronic music. I want to hear what it sounds like on acoustic instruments and pop, rock, country vocals singing songs with long lyrics. Does anyone have any non-edm, acoustic guitar, country / rock / pop vocals, electric guitar, .... Nothing electronic instruments that they have a sample video or audio of using this on that I can listen or watch? Much Thanks!
  17. If you said it ended on July 4th midnight EST, then I would feel a need to hurry. ?
  18. I'm looking at Smart:Comp 2 is there any better deal than $58?
  19. Haven't seen many Blue Cat Audio posting lately... Anyone have updates?
  20. ? plugin boutique ?... I have been tricked again!
  21. Nice. Already have it, but nice. Hoping they may give away a free one I don't have already ?
  22. In my previous post, I mentioned hearing about a new VST3 plugin by Duplicate called DELETE. So what makes DELETE special for music creators using DAWs? From what I've gathered, DELETE supposedly helps manage and clean your project files within your DAW, making it easier to identify and remove unwanted duplicate audio files. This could potentially streamline workflows and keep projects organized and clutter-free. I haven't seen official info on pricing or availability yet, but if this sounds interesting, keep an eye out for more details. If anyone knows more about where to find it, please share!
  23. ?I bought this at the 80% off sell... Teaches me to wait next time! Overall, I'm quite happy with this plugin. As I'm using this for it's FET compression while I am waiting for Hornet to create a 1176 emulation compressor. I'm actually using this for it's FET compression to compress the peaks, and then I have HA2A right after to warm up and bring out the vocals in the mix! ❤️❤️❤️ HA2A ❤️❤️❤️
