  1. I have the iPad (10th generation) which doesn’t have the M1 chipset and works perfectly fine!
  2. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cubasis-3-daw-music-studio/id1207839273 you can even plugin your MIDI keyboard into your ipad and use it in Cubasis! I’m using my old PCR-300 by Roland from over 15 years ago! The prices of plugins are extremely low and you can save money buying them on iPad!
  3. https://apps.apple.com/us/app-bundle/fabfilter-pro-bundle-2023/id1714776460 Update: The iPad version of this...the PDC working or not has many complaints across the internet. SO... FULL WARNING... PDC is the issue with these plugins on iPad!
  4. Fabfilter is tons cheaper on iPad shop. You can get the Fabfilter Pro Bundle for $89.99. And use Cubasis with it… to do your final mastering. on my desktop i use Reaper.. and Shaperbox 3 could go on it.. Fabfilter is expensive on PC compared to iOS iPad. I’m leaning towards Shaperbox 3, then later get Fabfilter on iPad.
  5. Yeah, which would you buy first if you had to choose one?
  6. Curious… FabFilter bundle vs Shaperbox 3. Which would you rather have?
  7. Snap, thought you was talking about Acon Digital Acoustica.
  8. I got a reply that says "No longer available"
  9. Not such a great deal, since it was on sale for $79 back in October 2023 and they want $149 for it??
  10. Love this plug-in! Ice used it in almost all my projects.
  11. If I update to windows 11 there's a huge possibility that my Roland PCR 300 drivers won't be compatible. I had to hack windows 10 to force it to run the windows 7 drivers. I don't even know if that's possible with windows 11. So, I would have to get new hardware on top of that!
  12. Windows 11 is got more spyware than windows 10 that has more spyware than windows 7....
  13. It's all about the name brand, not the years between. It's fine if they don't want me back. I still own 8.5, and with Blue Cat Audio Patchwork, I can run VST3 inside it. It maybe cheaper to buy a used platinum version from ebay that still works with offline installation? I've got Reaper DAW. The only thing I'll miss from the newer version of Cakewalk compared to 8.5 is the ability to drag audio up till it turns a line blue, drop it, and then it converts the audio into a tempo map automatically via Melodyne embedded. I use that feature quite often when I use Cakewalk.
  14. I wouldn't think so... I've looked deeply into creating imprinting into audio files that isn't audible to the human ear and found that to be extremely difficult when getting into the CD quality 44.1k 16 bit formats. Anything that compresses or converts like mp3 will completely mess with the signature. I couldn't wrap my brain around a way to do it without creating your own audio format. Edit: it would be much easier to stuff a song into a BMP file than to stuff a BMP file into a song and it still be usable.
  15. This new Cakewalk BETTER have CLAP support!
  16. Do you mean Fad Filter? As it's slowly drifting into the faded sunset... Just a distant memory...
  17. If your computer is as old as my computer (2015) you'll probably not be able to handle East West Opus.
  18. If Cakewalk offers a really good upgrade price from version 8.5 to the newest version that has a Perpetual license. I think it would be worth the upgrade
  19. Don't forget, it's $225 if you plan to use Reaper to sell whatever it outputs.
  20. Where do you get them from? I know about https://www.indiginus.com/renegade-acoustic-guitar I plan on using more of his instruments, but I don't know of anyone else within that price range. I'm needing to replace NI session bass and session guitar instruments if I uninstall Komplete 14. With Komplete 8, I have everything I need. I did however enjoy glaze instrument, but I can do without it. Most of the newer instruments I can do without. Kontakt 7 is CPU hungry verses Kontakt 5!
  21. I understand this is a cakewalk forum, but y'all are a better crowd of people whom can relate to many different things relating to music and plugins. When I had Komplete 8, I've never had this issue. Upgraded to Komplete 14 and now every so often I have to log back online to re-activate all of my plugins!!! I mainly notice this when I use Kontakt 7. It's the most used plugin from Native Instruments. Why do I have to continually go back online to re-activate something I already bought? I understand this link: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005670809-Offline-Activation-of-Native-Instruments-Products It doesn't say anything about having to re-activate products every 30-60 days. This is a Komplete headache! What happens if Native Instruments collapses and is no longer a business? Are all my products forever done? Should I stop buying from Native Instruments? Is this the kind of product I can not keep forever? Any suggestions to a different company that doesn't give issues like this and you can keep your instrument plugins forever? Maybe I'll denouce Native Instruments and start using someone else for my instruments that won't give me such a headache!
