Forget about it, it's not important. Dave said there was something new he doesn't think anyone has done yet. My first post & 'check the 50-80hz' comment was to reference his statement. I think that's what he was talking about, not eq flavours mixed in a box like Waves has already done. If one tries the plugin they might hear what it does or what's different about it.

Bottom line is don't compare to Waves or anyone else because the tech isn't the same. Ridiculous to knock a product without every trying it or knowing what's under the hood.

Love that free P-Bass. It's in all my templates & I use it at the start of creating all my projects.

That's my point, it's more than just different flavors of eq's or plugins.

I'd try it before knocking it. You'd find out there's some new & interesting things going on. I'd suggest by checking out 50-80hz bands first. CPU spikes when engaging pre-amps because of the tech. Light footprint compared to other models & similar to Diamond Color EQ. Demo period is one month, there's sure to be some bugs & updates. Priced a bit high IMO but typical AA sound quality. Doesn't remind of anything that Waves offers.

If you like Ruby2 (Fearn VT-4/ VT-5) keep in mind it's licensed by Fearn so it's rarely included in sales. In the past personal coupons wouldn't work on it either but they might work tomorrow. That's the one AA plugin I wouldn't be without.

The vocal melody & phrasing feels a bit too all over the place. Lyrics seem written as to isolate the listener & not involve them. Your vague remark is a fitting description. The intro/ outro sections (solos) & drum track are lacking in dynamics, phrasing & human feel. Too mechanical & rigid for what ( I think) you're tying to convey. Some nice ideas but needs fleshing out. Maybe try a few more passes or alt versions.
