Not a solution, but a workaround (until you find the root cause) might be to set plugin scanning to manual instead of at startup in Preferences.

All above advice is good. You also may want to just wait it out for several more months. Windows 10 has a roughly a 65% market share versus Windows 11 at about 35%. if that doesn’t change a lot during 2025 there is a decent chance that Microsoft will extend support for Win10 like they did for XP.

Thanks @Jim Fogle for your insights. I have 2024 Audiophile OmniPak (i.e., everything they offer) and am waiting for them to offer an upgrade discount for that package. PG Music support said it's coming, so if you're looking for the 2025 Audiophile OmniPak it should (hopefully) be available soon.

I find his analysis videos very interesting. If he wasn't "telling the truth" (i.e., scientifically showing that singers have been pitch-corrected, are lip synching, etc.) he would get sued into oblivion - no?
