  1. Yeah....my brain can't mx without channels feeding busses...and those busses often feeding other busses. I can't sleep at night if a track is routed straight to the master bus. ? One of the things that keeps me on Cakewalk is the mixer view that allows me to keep busses on top and visible at all times. I don't like busses floating all over my mixer.
  2. .EDIT: Took at look at MOTU. There is probably even a firmware update there.
  3. I'm a Kemper user. I picked up the Tone Junkie everything pack for 100% off a couple years ago. Just happened to be checking email when the promo came up. Between those profiles and the stock Michael Britt profiles...I just don't have any desire to chase any other tones. It's all there for me. I try really hard to not go down the rabbit hole any further...lol. Those new Michael Britt freebie liquid profiles are ridiculous.
  4. 7 gauge. I can't imagine you'd ever screw up the neck...but I wouldn't know how to do the math. Or hell. Go 7 gauge and strung up like Nashville tuning. No one wants to see you sell that guitar. ?
  5. No. Not yet. I got some advice from an old man selling a motorcycle once. I saw the price and went to look at the bike which was in incredible shape for the price. And I finally looked him in the eye and said..."I want to beat you up on price but I can't figure out where." He laughed and said..."I'm selling this for my nephew. And I told him he can either price the bike to sell or he can have a bike for sale." He sold the bike that day. And I have always remembered that when I'm selling great gear. Know the value and set the price at fair value where I lose a little and the buyer wins. I don't haggle. The right person always comes along and hands you the money because they know they're stealing it.
  6. Haha...there's also that. I have an extremely rare guitar that's basically worthless....but I'd never sell it because it's a ridiculously great guitar.
  7. Sweetwater also has a used gear sales option...similar to Reverb. And I think the fees are slightly lower. If you have a rep there, you can discuss with him/her.
  8. I've sold a bunch of stuff on Reverb over the years. Standard scammers and low-ballers will apply. But if it's truly rare, you'll get offers. Most likely from dealers who hope you're desperate. If you know what you have and you price it to sell...it'll sell. Question is, as always, do you really want to give away 8.19% + $0.49 when you sell it?
  9. Yeah. That's the thing, right? Never sounds the same ANYWHERE. So...meh...it's like looking at a painting in different lighting. Never looks the same. If it's truly cool, the things that matter get heard and seen...and people relate.
  10. I mean....this was creepy. Betrayed by this town. I kinda felt like I was looking at a shooter's manifesto disguised as a music video. Which, I'm sure, will be next.
  11. I can tell you that any time I've deleted my interface driver and reinstalled it I've had to rename all those I/O names. So that may be your best option. I'm not sure if unchecking the "friendly name" box gets it done for you or not.
  12. Yeah. The only time I fight that is if I actually cut a clip anywhere but on 1/4, 1/2 or a Whole note. That's when the loop shrinks or grows to the nearest 1/4 note.
  13. Mark...wouldn't you be able to fix that by applying your own workspace?
  14. WAP is a hit. Does it even matter anymore? "Whores in this house There's some whores in this house There's some whores in this house There's some whores in this house (hol' up) I said certified freak, seven days a week Wet ***** pu**y, make that pullout game weak, woo! (Ah)"
  15. I'm pretty sure it'll be fine with multiple bit depth. But sampling rate would be a problem.
  16. If the audio folder was removed from the project folder I'd think you'd get a warning about the audio being missing. Like this: Did you get that? If not...a hard hang like that when trying to launch a project could be a plugin.
  17. @msmcleod I opened the entire PRV and zoomed out. No stray notes in there.
  18. I suppose it's worth a look. But it's odd that these "stray notes" wouldn't be there if I open the drum prv by clicking on the folder in the docker - but as soon as I double click on a midi track in the clips pane. And now that I've re-saved that workspace the problem stopped. I'll still take a look this afternoon.
  19. I appreciate you trying to help @Bristol_Jonesey. But the problem is solved now. Thanks for looking at it @Glenn Stanton
  20. No. If you read the latest responses and look at the screen shot I posted in the beginning you can see that it's not the articulation pane.
  21. I've avoided wireless for about 15 years because of the random nature of issues...and super fast battery drain. But when I built this new system a year ago I picked up a Logitech K850 set at Costco on a whim. I've been pretty shocked at the reliability and how long the batteries last. I did have to run a USB extended cable up and around my desk to within about a foot of the keyboard to avoid data skips. But rock solid since then.
  22. It has been going on for a while - in all projects - and I've just been ignoring it. But I finally decided to ask if anyone had ever seen it. It didn't stop me from working...just was a head scratcher. Still is. Seems something was corrupted in that workspace, I guess.
  23. It's strange, indeed. I always keep the docker open on one screen where I usually toggle between the prv and console. Every time I double click the midi data on the prv it brings up the drum prv with the big gap. If I just click on the tab in the docker...no big gap. So check it out...I just re-attached the docker to the main app and recorded a little drum piece. Double clicked on the midi data and there was no big gap. So then I dislodged the docker again and took it to the second screen to maximize it. Saved the workspace again...and now the problem is gone....lol. And I just opened another project that had that problem...gone there too. That's some silly stuff.
  24. Glenn. Record a quick pattern. Then double click on the pattern in the clips pane to open up the PRV for the drums...then tell me if the gap at the top appears.
