  1. I got a couple various barrel versions and a cloudlifter. We have some extremely long runs at our facility that really benefit from these types of boosters. (Plus vintage ribbon mics, vintage mic pre’s with low gain, the ole pre SM7dB shures, etc). "One of these days we’ll do a shoot out.” Lies I tell myself
  2. I use this most within the Modular system.
  3. Thanks Lars. This is the only thing of theirs I was missing, and I’ve got an Atmos mix this week I think it’ll be helpful on.
  4. George Payhon Jr from Cairo Knife Fight has a few of these in his kick ***** touring rig. There seems to be a lot of value in these boxes. I’m loving some of the stuff Dave Friedman is putting out. And that BE50 is *chef’s kiss*...

I hate subs but I get why something like this is subscription based. I do wish there was at least and option to prepay more than a year in advance. This cuts back on me having to submit receipts to accounting.
  6. I almost want to wait till it is not on sale to F29 it. I loved the o.g. modular limiters, but haven’t dug deep on the newer versions of hardware.
  7. A buddy of mine got the same. Please send thoughts and prayers.
  8. So...what had happen’ wasssss... I saw someone post a different price. Since it was on preorder, I figure- eff it and ordered then just in case (along with a P1 eurorack module preorder- don’t judge me). See the pic here: Now it’s $899. So, if accepted, I get to do the “you are not the father” dance. I’ll be bummed, but will understand if they chose not to honor it if it’s a price mistake. The rep over there did text me (I put “please email or text me an ETA when you know” in the comments), “ETA for the Console 1 m3 is the end of October & eta for the PP1 is close to the New Year”.
  9. Console 1 Channel Mk III Walkthrough – Softube Preorder on Sweetwater is $550. I expected it to be higher. (price mistake)
  10. and.... AND.... that just for the ‘studio’ version. "Pro Tools Ultimate Perpetual Licence[sic] - $1,499”
  11. Website is tripping here. Takes it out of my cart if I’m logged in. Won’t let me complete the purchase logged out (keeps looping). I accepted the cookies. Tried Safari, Chrome, Firefox. I’ll try again in a few hours.
  12. Just say “It makes drums twack like you are slapping a dead octopus on the floor”. Honestly, I’m more into the DBX160XT for the boxy midrange punch, but of the handful of oddball plug in’s I’ve heard that try to emulate it fail by a large margin IMO. But this is still twacktastically useful on some applications.
  13. Not here. I own the vast majority of UAD. I do have this option under my offers (had to add both to hit the $50 discount), but it’s very redundant for me, and I really wish one of the bundles included the Capital compressor which I don’t own.
  14. I got the Immersive version. Does some really rad stuff in an Atmos environment and it well thought out, but I feel it could use more presets for what I paid for it. Plenty of 'sound design' stuff though. It's less exciting in stereo, but a no brainer if you find a price mistake @ 40 bucks. I'd really only consider it at this price if you plan to eventually find a deal on an upgrade path to the immersive version.
  15. that's some peak level comedy right there....
  16. Polyend Tracker Standalone Audio Workstation  add code TESD = $20 off = $339 Be sure to add the code for discount.
  17. Thanks. Musicians’Friend has a discount code “LABOR” with it, and I had a bunch of bonus points through MF so got it pretty cheap out the door.
