  1. I’ll bite. D Fused Waves Platinum worked out to $77.57 USD / €67.99 EUR in cart.
  2. I love me some Softube stuff but... their website is weird ("Log in to see your upgrade price”, then it logs you out, and sometimes puts you in a loop unable to see upgrade pricing, sometimes not giving you any upgrade pricing, etc) and their installer glitches out on me from time to time (often making updating impossible). I own everything they make (and updated several of the Volumes along the way) except for a handful of amp sims, and one of the soft synths.
  3. I’ve always liked the EQ on the hardware. The comp, with all it’s fun sidechain capabilities, seemed like so much work to get sounding good, and then I’d compare to something else and something else would win, so I’d mainly just use it for EQ if it was in the rack. I always made it hard to justify the purchase price to me, where the 737’s value as a channel strip was pretty instant, even if the compressor was slow pre-babyface mod. Let us know if you run it through it’s paces whatcha think, Bapu.
  4. Once you do pop, you can’t stop...
  5. I slept on this, and today decided to pull the trigger. I got about $50 in “rewards” waiting at MF, so it’s a pretty hard thing to pass on. However, once I got to the checkout, shipping is $70 (+@$30 tax in CA). It’s still a good deal and honestly, the shipping cost is fair, but I may think it over another day and maybe a competitor will price match that offers free shipping.
  6. Randall RX412 Cabinet Black $219 Says Backordered at the time of this posting.
  7. I wish there was a donate button so I could chip in.
  8. Via ebay... 1tb $70 2tb $120 These are physically smaller sizewise than most people think.
  9. I copped it. It wasn’t an entirely smooth process for me. Took a couple days to get the serial. Then I had to create an account, which I already did, then apply that serial to the account. Then I had to email them to get the download link. Once you open the plug in, it’s in demo mode, but you enter your username and password and it phone home’s to authorize it. Not a huge deal, but if you expect to start using it instantly, you might be disappointed. I just scratched the surface with it, but it surprised me that it wasn’t bad.
  10. girls... girls... yer both pretty. It’s $10.

  12. Thanks. Paid for most of these back in the day.
  13. Stage Right by Monoprice SB 2x12 Guitar Amp Extension Cabinet with 2x Celestion V30 Speakers - $258.99 with code BIG30 The speakers retail for around $169 each alone.
  14. I can’t front. I’m really impressed with it. There’s a significant difference between the different tanks in the Tank Selector. I see myself chaining this into other effect (pre Chamber verb, echoplex into it, etc) a lot. If I have a gripe about it, I wish the “short/medium/long” was a fader you could dial in instead of switching. Also, the mix knob feels weird to me on some of the tank selections (like Dark Space)- at 95%, it feels like a lot more of the dry is coming through than it should to me. That said, it sounds very realistic.
  15. Got Mercury and I’m WUPed (don’t judge me). Logged in to Waves and “Got latest version”. Ran Waves Central. Did the update. Installed Mercury. It did that stupid thing where it doesn’t see any Waves plug in’s in my DAW. Felt a vein behind my eyeball start to throb, felt numbness in my left arm, started to taste copper for no reason. Went back to Waves Central. “Fix permissions and ownership”. Working. Time to slap it on some Fender amps and see what’s what.
  16. Insert “Down with the sickness” “uhwah-ah-ah-ah” sound effect.
  17. neener neener, chicken deener.
  18. I have my gripes with these, namely the ‘drive’ reacting differently to the hardware, but.... at $13 with both these codes, it’s a no-brainer to me.
  19. honestly, I think I own everything in these bundles. The only real stuff I’m really lacking on the UA front is amp sims or maybe something I already have in a non-UAD format.
  20. This one is so good, I'm curious if they did something dramatically different when they modeled it. My fav Softube plug in.
  21. Just Symphonic. I used to use the 990 IR’s included in Altiverb for that grainy vibe, or the Ibanez/Sony SDE2000 (different but kinda in that world) but eventually got ahold of a IR set of just the verbs from the SPX90 that I loaded into Altiverb. The “gate reverb” and “reverb gate” eventually got replaced by a Rematrix patch but it’s much less gritty.
  22. Dopamine and Modula are my favorite offerings here... Dopamine for Queen vocals, or anything that can use that shimmery love. Modula for the much loved Spx-90 Symphonic or vocals/guitar, and Dim D for bass width/synths. I’m not a fan of the “Ensemble”, software or hardware. One of these days it might work on a strings patch or something, but I’m just not into it. Note that there is a scaled down version of this called “Gem Mod” that is free from time to time but omits the Symphonic and Ensemble features. I used these on almost every mix, so worth $67 to me, but if you cop a bundle it’s more around $50 each/bundle of 3 or $45 each/bundle of 5. Maybe consider the Binson if you need a 3rd one, and get a lot of “pink floyd” type stuff to work on. I don’t really pay attention to their amp sims.
  23. I really want LM-Correct, and I’d love Paragon, but these prices are still rather high IMO. If it was 65% off the price they are offering, I’d cop it. I own 12 licenses (some are extensions), including Halo for reference on this one deal I singled out.
  24. If I was at NRG, I’d use this to model a control room I thought sounded good (though I do miss that Moroccan live room).
  25. The concern here is the buy out and possibly of vaporware. I use the delay a lot. It’s a goto for long dub throws. Most of the others I’d rather use trying to make something unique at the beginning of a production. Throwing a ring mod on the 2 mix can cause clients to go into shellshock IME. I also own a 6-pedal-hareware version of some of these. So I’m a mooger hardware fan. Some aren’t. For sub $20 prices... I’d at least run demos if I were you and check em.
