I paid regular price (like $250 at the time) for Green in a pitch when I needed to open a session that had it on like every channel. I'm hoping there's an upgrade path for me.

Might as well be 'on sale' for $20k. I had a gear trade go south on me a few years ago that this would have been included (and would have made it a great trade for me), and I've got a few projects this would help resurrect but nothing I can see a significant enough return on me to invest this much. Maybe if it ever hits $2k, I can start thinking about it.

Thanks, Kirean. Repped. Copped this. There's some suss stuff cooked in it. The ø button, ever so slightly changes the volume when you have the preamp/Satura engaged. When you engage the comp, the volume comes up with everything zero'd. When you engage the EQ, there's a very slight curve that happens, maybe similar to an analog unit, but for something that is supposed to be a medley/EQsalad, it seemed weird. The Opto is also odd to me. Seems like if a comp is set to "0% compression" and the gain is zero to 0, no change should happen. Oh, and BOOOOOOOOoooooo@stupid analog noise button defaulted on. Then again, I just got up and haven't had coffee yet so maybe my ears are tricking me on some of this.

The facility I work at has 4 control rooms. I have my home studio, and 2 other rigs. We also have 4 other floater rigs. Basically, I'll take what I can get. But I don't really get upset when a company like Waves or Softube offers up a freebie. It'd just be nice to get an extra freebie when I've purchased at least 6 copies of Mercury from them.

I am, yet again, reminded how terrible their website is. I copped this in the bundle a while back. I consider it good, but rarely use it since I have several others that tackle the same duties that I'm just more familiar with. Not to sound greedy, but it bums me out that I cannot seem to get another auth of this during the free offer when I already paid for it (even when attempting to"buy again"), but could use it on other rigs at our facility. Waves pulls the same stuff. I'm guessing this is to prevent reselling somehow.
