be prepared to jump through microsoft hoops to make this happen - fingers crossed you will be lucky, but I've spent hours on the phones with them before over this exact issue.

yep - very little need to do much on Win10 worth checking the power options - and put everything on full or at least set up a power profile that sets everything to max. Cubase/Nuendo set up a profile for you if you use that. Depending on the BIOS you might want to do some more (non win10 specific) adjustments. (personally) I turn of c-states and lock the CPU to max frequency. Rather contentiously I also switch off hyperthreading too......(YMMV). I run my audio cards at 32 sample buffers. At this low level hyperthreading leads to worse performance (especially in cubase)....anything over 64 samples and probably best to leave hyperthreading on. You'll notice some software gets annoyed if you have hyperthreading off - PA for example will need to be re-authorised as it things you are on a new PC !

I think they work but I don't think you can actually get to them in "free mode" - basically free mode means you lose the edit facility and you can just use the 'easy' presets (like the monastery grand) - I don't think there are any 'easy presets' that use the Mdrummer samples as I say - I'm not 100% but I think that's the case

I'm not showing any EZkeys updates on windows ? EDIT you're probably seeing the May update ? https://www.toontrack.com/release-notes/release-notes-ezkeys/
-
Added support for authorizing and using EBXs (EZbass sound expansions). (note - audio sender has an update too)
-
not the issue here but appreciate the input ....

anybody found that these updates break your old projects ? Loading up old projects in cubase maxes out the CPU until I disable the arturia plugs - if I remove the plugin and re-add it then it's ok. So it seems like these updates break the importing of older settings or something - bloomin' annoying I'll put a ticket in to see what arturia say - but might be worth hanging on before rushing to upgrade - I'll post back here if arturia bother to respond (windows 10 - and all version of cubase/nuendo that I have on the system)

yep seems to be for those who own everything - I only have a few plugs/libraries so it's full price for me

I have a few of the plugs but I feel exactly the same - The UI puts me off using them.
