Very nice melody. as people have said the guitar is thin (lacks tone and sounds tinny). Great effort.

I find the Slate VSX very good. really pleased with the system. I could not justify a $4000 plus headphones as I have excellent monitors and the Avantones. The Slate model of the Avantones is spot on too.

I can find no criticism on this Mark at all. (listened to it 4 times) ? It sounds amazing and you've painted a fantastic audio canvas and as nynekker pointed out it sounds "like a live combo act". I thought the violin was a steel guitar... shows how much I know lol.

My comment would bring the vocals more forward... Great rocker.

Very clever... Nice low end. We all paint different pictures... Could be a little more "crispy" for me. Steven Slate plugin "Fresh" would have brought it out Im sure.

Nice Tom. This is different from other stuff I have heard from you. Bassline is funky!! Clever lyrics. Love the 04.37 bit... lol We all paint very different pictures.. To my ears the synth verb (horns) seems not to fit into the overall picture when it first comes in and seems a little tinny. (2.52) and I am hearing some distortion in the composition. (just my ears).

The guitars sound very harsh on my Focals. (very distorted and over powered on the left) Have you mixed this for a long period of time? This is how my mixes go when spending too much time on them. I agree with what Mark says. This is just my opinion as we all paint very different pictures. sound very beetlish to me.. ?

I have a good computer... but no TPM 2.. so I fail. ? wdit... do have TPM and have installed win11 without any problems.

Andy I thought this was a great song. Great lyrics and harmonies in the right place and also what a great piano sound. The vocal has a lot of emotion... have you tired without melodyne/autotune? Our own vocals always sounds worse in our own heads ? Your voice reminds of an artist Graham Kendrick from years ago in my teen years. Well done.
