I got my license with purchase of Speed Editor which was same price as Resolve Studio. As a longtime Adobe user ( I used to be a tutor for Adobe products), I often used Mocha. One of my issues with Boris products( I think Boris bought them out) is the licensing was constantly changing with drastic pricing jumps and they would disappear on their site. I find the planar tracker in resolve is suitable amd integrates nicely. The hardest Adobe product for me to replace now is After Effects, but this update brings more After Effects like features into Resolve. Fusion was never meant to be like After Affects. It is a powerful compositer, which ot is superior to AE at doing.

For clarity, I now use Affinity suite along with Resolve studio. I'm hoping the PSD files produced by Affinity will import into Resolve

I own the studio version and it's more than worth it, considering it's a fraction of the cost of using Adobe Premiere. Yes, you get more products, but the value only comes into play if you actually use the other ones. I won't get into politics, but there is a price increase due to new tarrifs. Still a bargain

I think the 4 stars are due to the confusion caused by drastic workflow differences. I have not dug deep enough to have a strong opinion yet. I do think they have a good track record of making solid improvement updates in between major releases. I will get this and leave some feedback on course

The installer is wonky for me. It won't let me update two of my products, making me hesitant to use any of them

It gets you on the mailing list and potentially draws you to other similar "pro" products in their guitar line

Like a few others, I suspect it was intentional. The idea that it may be a glitch creates urgency and impulse buying. The fact that it was on multiple sites lets us know that it wasn't a glitch by the resellers.

I use Arc 2 as well and it works great

I will now add this to the pile of software I bought because it was on sale but will likely not use. I do use tracks 5 stuff but who knows when and if i will change workflow to include new modules not in 5 and not ready to test if 6 versions of previous plugins will load in old projects

@Starship Krupa that is why i think the product was kind of a friendly spite offering. The one thing that would give this the most value is if the interfaces worked exactly like the products being emulated.

My Pro's for buying: Melda products almost always punch above their weight class. Great price I have achieved curves almost identical to much costlier products My Con's against buying: The controls are not 1:1 emulation of controls of products emulated. Odds are good you have similar emulations already A value isn't a value if you don't actually use it I'm pretty sure this plugin is the core Melda algorithm re-skinned out of tongue and cheek spite. The founder's interviews and comments about emulation makes me think he's not a fan. There is not a setting that cannot be nulled in mautodynamic eq
