The guitar sounded really nice to my ears, as did the whole mix. That's a cool idea to put music to a Robert Burns poem. Thanks for posting.

Very creative (I loved that ending) and the mix was impressive.

sven450 - Thank you very much for listening - I never thought of the Dead on this one - interesting. garybrun - I'll edit the guitar hum on the next remix - and I'll try to accentuate the bass a bit - thanks for listening. JohnBee58 - Thanks for giving my song a listen, and yes us guitarists always have to deal with the hum issue?

That lead guitar tone was very nice - what are you playing there, and what are you playing through? Good job on this composition. Very impressive guitar playing - nicely done.

It sounded ominous and dark to me - aptly fitting your song title. I think it would fit nicely for a film score which needed a mood such as this. I picked up on the what sounded like breathing at the beginning and the end. Nicely done.

This song is hardcore - the lead vocal and lyrics is a nice fit for the song. The drum track really rocks. Cool guitar licks throughout. Nice job guys - this tune really rocks.

I enjoyed this blues tune - and the lyrics are really funny. Your vocal fits the song just right - I don't think there was too much verb on it. Thanks for posting.

A Wookieeised attempt at Berlin School type of thingDouglas Kirby replied to Wookiee's topic in Songs I enjoyed this - I've never heard of the Berlin School, but this was quite relaxing - sometimes repetition in music works quite well, and it does here. Nicely done.

Hi Everybody, I wrote this song back in the 90's and I used to perform it at open mikes - people for the most part liked the song. It's off my album "Wishful Thinking". Any comments and critiques are appreciated, and thanks for listening. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/html5/v4/player.cfm?songID=13529036

It's a cool song and I enjoyed the lyrics - the horns sounded a bit weak - they need something, maybe a bit of tube gain or something. This tune made me think of a Steely Dan vibe - it's got that jazz rock feel to it. Also, to my ears, some vocal doubles or harmonies would add some spice to the song. Thanks for posting.

I have a DVD copy of "Plan 9 From Outer Space" - it's such a bad movie it's entertaining. Your music did it justice - nice job.
-
Really impressive mix - that caught my attention right away - sounds great through my headphones. It's a good song - I enjoyed the listen and the hook of "Invisible Man". Nice job - thanks for posting - you have a good one here.

The link didn't work for me either.

I thought the rhythm worked well with the lead piano, and the bass line was interesting. Nicely done. Only crit - it ended abruptly - extend the end - use a fade or something.

That's cool that you posted a rocker as a tribute to your Dad - nicely done. I agree with some of the other guys that it has a serious AC/DC vibe. The mix sounds pro. Impressive lead vocal and guitar work. Thanks for posting.

This song is a rocker with a bit of synthesizer lead to spice it up. I thought it was a cool song - an interesting listen. Thanks for posting.

The vocal harmonies on this are really impressive - I really enjoyed that. Nice lead guitar too. I would like to hear the snare a bit more - it's buried in the mix, in my opinion. Thanks for posting - good song.
