  1. Oh yeah, Tunefish v3 and v4 are also pretty good. There is also TAL-U-NO 62 and TAL Noisemaker and because it hasn't been mentioned before Full Bucket Software is full of free synth VSTis.
  2. I wonder if Bandlab will ever partner with Roland and revive some the old plugins that were part of the DAW. Roland GrooveSynth and DreamStation DXi were pretty good for its time.
  3. RM-2 and Head Crusher by Audio Assault are also pretty good saturator plugins.
  4. The problem I have with the Gate module is that there is no control over the ratio, attack or release time. I'd like to have an Expander/Gate that has a decoupled open/close threshold, or better yet, one that is based on RMS values rather than peak values..
  5. Roland SCVA works well enough as a drop-in replacement, but it does cost $125. Here is a song that I composed using SCVA exclusively for tone generation.
  6. Use TX16wx or manually transpose slices, Elastique Pro for percussion, Radius Solo/Mix for melodic samples.
  7. I decided to grab J37 and REDD, and I am falling in love with the saturation character they give.
  8. Well, I'm glad i got it while it's free. Always nice to have plugins that give tracks an analog flavour.
  9. Highly recommending this deal, it was $29 on Waves a couple of days ago, and it's a no-brainer for me.
  10. Hmm....getting Z3ta+2 would be tempting, and with added Arturia collections.
  11. If he's looking for sampled libraries, I believe there are some stuff available for Sforzando and Zampler RX. And also there's Full Bucket Music Synths.
  12. I personally recommend Hybrid and Vaccuum Pro, They're very very powerful. If you don't have any money on budget though, Vember Audio's Surge VST is a great offering.
  13. Awesome! Thanks, this is great!
  14. Ooh, even without the discounts, the bundle they offer is a good deal.
  15. You mean this thread? https://vi-control.net/community/threads/who-knows-this-company-sonex-strange-pricing.79952/ If so, hooo boy. I grabbed their free pads offering, and I am prepared for the worst.
  16. Would you like to elaborate? I am curious myself. (Also worth mentioning that their catalog is 80% off at the moment)
  17. The mistake is in assuming that there is no skill or talent involved in the MIDI editing process. Considering the legacy of Cakewalk and what it's created for, y'all should really know better.
  18. I would rather you cut the elitism out. There is no reason to look down on people who edit MIDI and compose music.
  19. Mixbus 32c is $299, Mixbus Standard is $79. With this deal you get a plugin worth $89 for $49 and the $79 DAW
