wow I love this kind of vibe! Dig everything going on, sax and guitar solos, but I think I like the brass chops the most. What software for brass chops? Sounds real!

The coolest indie song and video I've seen in a long time. Man when the vocal went up an octave I was hooked all the way to the end. Great piano and guitar too. Basically the piano is driving the piece, and I like that. Is the video private? It doesn't show up in your youtube channel.

I like the dreamy smooth vibe and the unexpected chord changes. And guitar tones. Nice!

Dig this retro alt rock track! I like the very wide stereo field and instrument placement. Perfect mix to my ears. Thanks for comments

I suddenly want to get on a boat for some reason! Ah yes- it takes you away! Laid back sunny vibe!

Thanks! I don't know if you wore headphones but I recommend speakers, because I don't mix for headphones and I use panning on the elect piano. Also no compression. Just uploaded version 7 with many improvements.

Classic guitar rock song, well crafted! I followed the lyrics- thanks for posting. "cool" and "cruel" makes the point of the song very well. Clever word rhyme. Pro guitar chops and solo work.

Done! Preview is removed, here is the final track. Seven days to rework it! See more notes in OP and link to play. Thanks for listeneing!

yep this is enjoyable- I got hooked on the bass hook! I have GForce synth but haven't used in a piece yet.

someone needs to call out the liars out there! enjoyed it. I like the minimalism you use. Cool bass

Done! Preview is removed, here is the final track. One of my most complex pieces I wrote in 2007 in retro pop/jazz band ensemble style. All instruments and effects from Sample Tank 4 MAX. Features the Nylon Guitar, Elect Piano and the Billy Cobham drum kit. With Piano, Bass, Brass, Synth, Drums and Percussion. Note that I never mix for headphones as I go for a raw live band sound using no compression. I also use panning on keys. Instruments may sharply pop in/out of the mix. You can 'Dream in Spring' any time of year. It's when you have happy, wonderous dreams. Which likely are most often in Spring. (And not just when sleeping.) Thus the name.

Fantastic! The dynamics and quality of the instruments is amazing. Best trumpets I've heard. Which orchestra? I think I heard Holst reference the theme from 1st Suite in Bb for just a moment. Gave me the chills.

Here's my settings using the Soundblaster card. I can not adjust the buffer settings, they are greyed out.

Drums now sound great- perfect mix too. It was needed to compliment the bass line. Song has punch now.
-
Wow I like this! The piano chords are appealing, could listen for hours. I hear a sub bass but no regular bass. Which does keep it the mood lite, but a bass I think would be ok in some parts. Super nice.
-
Enjoyed it! Plenty of low end on the bass! That's a slick bass pattern you came up with! Everyone would mix differently. I wouldn't make the drums heavier maybe just a tad up in the mix. Why the song name "Duke"?

Thanks for comments! Uploaded new improved version. Same souncloud link in OP

This one makes you dream and feel good, enjoyed it!

I enjoyed this! Love the song vibe and organ, I used to have a vox continental , I hauled it to band jobs back in the day. And yes the surprising chord changes are great!

great live guitar rock! and tape is the best recording medium imo so I hope there will be more on tape.
