  1. I think it might be, but it also might just be registering it to that serial and not linked initially. I've seen both with plugins, so it could be either. Unless there's a good reason not to, then I'd keep them the same just to be safe.
  2. Download and install Pulse and register that if you haven't already in the past. Then in Pulse, you can add products, so do that by using the code. You can then download/install it with Pulse, then open your DAW, scan for new plugins if it's not automatic, then create an audio track (or on guitar VSTi) effect slot add it. The first time you open it, it will prompt for that same code and your email address. It has nothing to do with Native Access at all ?
  3. You can enter multiple codes, you just clear the box and enter the second one ?
  4. Rookie mistake not using that second coupon ?
  5. I think they're targeting a niche market which is fine, but unless someone is gigging and touring, a lot of customers are just using it for convenience and novelty. The PA locked version was good to use, although I could easily replicate anything in Cubase anyway. There's 0% chance I would pay for their full version and I would bet they will lose a lot of customers. To put the pricing in perspective, that buys Reaper a full and feature rich DAW that is also stable and you can have it lean for gigs too: $60 : discounted license. (Personal OR You are an individual or business using REAPER commercially, and yearly gross revenue does not exceed USD $20,000) $225 : commercial license. But with more customers comes more support, so maybe they've done the sums, or just don't want as many customers to deal with, so it still could be the right choice for them individually.. not for me though.. I'll never touch them again ? Dear Reality on the other hand handled things perfectly in this situation. I wish they had more I wanted and I'd be happy to buy from them again ?
  6. I'm a little the same.. there's not much exciting in there that I don't have.. lots of "good" products and I may use them if I bought Volume just because I have them, but for most of them I probably already have better. The main things from Softube that I have thought about are the Weiss stuff (Compressor/Limiter or DS1-MK3), Chandler and Empirical Labs. Maybe Tube-Tech but probably not. If I hadn't already bought a bunch of good plugins and instruments, then the bundle would still be a good option. That's one of the great things about being on this forum and scoring so many bargains on great software, it's so easy to pass up average deals and weak loyalty offers from companies like Softube.
  7. That definitely is an option, but essentially somebody who has never bought anything from them can just buy one of their most expensive plugins and upgrade for cheaper than someone who has spent a bucketload of cash with them. They just don't get customer loyalty. Selling plugins is often effort and little returns on them, even though as you mentioned Softube does retain their value a little better. The customer that's never bought from them would still be way in front.
  8. Maybe the update to their site is just working it's way through accounts. If that's not the case, then Softube has taken an even worse turn for customer loyalty, but I think you should be OK ?
  9. Yeah their upgrade mentality sucks.. you could have every single plugin from the bundle and your upgrade price would still only be the price minus the most expensive plugin. I had been waiting to see this one and it's an easy pass. There's not enough unique stuff in there that couldn't be cherry picked in a sale for the most part. I now see why they retired some of their products right before releasing it as well..
  10. Dear Reality handled it perfectly. My license was just transferred across by raising a request to them. It seems they treat you as a regular customer. The concept of charging someone more because they legitimately bought a product at a discount through their official reseller is a bit anti customer in my book. I had thought I might upgrade to the unlocked version out of convenience, but don't think I'd bother with this company now.
  11. That's a very unusual cross grade policy based off the price you paid... That's almost a bit IKM.. you really either own the product, or you don't, but I get their thinking..
  12. The thing about practically all deals, is once they reach a price, they're almost all guaranteed to be that again... or less! Apart from the odd pricing mistake.. (we're so due for a good one again!) So unless you really need it, or just really want it now, it often doesn't matter too much. There's been quite a few I've missed out on only to find something better afterwards anyway and then never got around to buying the first one. There's always more.. more sales, more plugins, more developers, more ("game changers" ?)
  13. I love that both of those companies do that. Even more useful considering how many plugins they sell too. It would be great if PA for example displayed them while you're browsing too without having to use that addon from Github. I bought their 2022 bundle though, so it's a bit of a moot point for me now as it's always easy to know which ones I don't own!
  14. In a bundle it does. I got it for $41.80 in a 5 gem bundle from JRRShop. Given it's one of their more expensive, it was a perfect choice as a bundle pick. I think the 3 bundle price isn't far off $49 from memory, but otherwise I think around $80 on sale, but should be a decent step up in quality. Their stuff is really good!
  15. This one could be quite good, but I'd rather pick up the Overloud's Gem VOICE on sale for similar money instead. I have and love Gem Voice and it even has a few IRs for the 6000 and Lexicon 480 reverbs in there which I've used on other instruments too.
  16. Oh really?! That should've been pulled from the store sooner in my opinion. I wouldn't be too happy to buy something and then find out a few days later it was made legacy and only get updates for 3 years.
  17. Well I held out pretty well... until I tried the demo.. it does sound nice.. for that price it had to be mine ?
  18. One or more products you own will soon become a legacy product. What does this mean? In short, your product will soon become a supported legacy product. You will continue to receive updates and bug fixes for three years. After three years, you will no longer receive updates, but you can access the latest qualified update for your legacy product to ensure the integrity of your project. The supported legacy products are: Bass Amp Room Metal Amp Room Vintage Amp Room FET Compressor Mk I Legacy products are discontinued products no longer sold by Softube. There are two types of legacy products: supported and unsupported. Legacy products will receive support from Softube for three years after being discontinued. At this point, they become unsupported legacy products. As long as a legacy product is supported, you will receive new installers and updates, and the products themselves will continue to be qualified by our Quality Assurance team. When the three-year period is coming to an end, we will email you again with more information about your product status. Learn more by visiting our FAQ, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact our Support team. Kind regards, Softube
  19. Might be worth checking to see if you already own it. I did, so I didn't grab it to save serials for others ?
  20. Mutate I'm not so sure whether it has much value, but Spectrum could be interesting.. seems a little like IK / UVI but in a Kontakt instrument. https://www.wavealchemy.co.uk/product/spectrum/
  21. This is quite tempting... https://audioplugin.deals/product/kontakt-synth-bundle-by-wave-alchemy/ For as low as $34.99 (normally $162), get the massive 19GB+ Kontakt Synth Bundle featuring SPECTRUM, MUTATE and BASS PEDALS by Wave Alchemy! Can get Bass Pedals with the other two for $31.49 with coupon code: apdis6
  22. Yeah I always found it weird that they had some really great sounding products, but then just never updated the UI for them. They can be annoying to use in some ways, so I get the point. At least the sound is good on this one!
  23. It might just be their actual website that's incorrect, not their ecomm site they use.
  24. It might depend on what country you're browsing from, or if you're logged in and have other products. Saurus 4 shows 50% off, whereas Icarus 2 doesn't for me for some reason. Icarus 2.5 (Was €199) €149 $169 Whereas Saurus 4 is 50% New! Saurus 4 (Was €119) €59 $69
  25. It didn't seem to be 50% when I looked, so it might be an "up to 50% sale" . Some of the other synths are though.
