Again another pleasant and enjoyable example of your talents @David Sprouse. A nice introduction to the start of my day, thank you
  2. @bjornpdx As ever you make my furry ears smile with your musical adventures. There is something so evocative about those Middle eastern scales, they add a depth that I feel is often missing in western scales. Peter Gabriel's Passion album springs to mind. If I was to offer a constructive criticism the opening female vocal feels a little harsh perhaps some subtle surgical EQ to take the edges off. Keep them coming I just love your style and approach to making music. Thank you for sharing with us here.
  3. Thanks Nigel nice to know you enjoyed this.
  4. Tricky I suspect especially for the drummer or percussionist, the same pattern is repeated throughout, either on the Hi Hat or Ride cymbal, it is played around all 7 of the Tom Tom's of the SDX Feilds of Rock Stone room, twice if the furry brain remembers correctly. Thanks for having a listen and commenting.
  5. Radical thought, a furry alien with clawed paws writing earth Prog ?. Your time, ears and comments are appreciated thank you.
  6. As Request .--. ..- .-.. ... .- .-.
  7. @Michael Fogarty if you are using a sub it is probably intentional.
  8. @noynekker there is a secret in that time signature, thanks for the listen & comments.
  9. Thanks nice to know you enjoyed this. Interesting you also see this as an island vibe, perhaps I need to provide a subtle clue
  10. I do love a a bit of cool Electric Piano, that kick sure punches through. The whole vibe of this is very very very cool @Michael Fogarty. One little observation I noticed on my Events there is s little bit of bass hang/bloom on some of the sparse passages, probably inaudible on many systems..
  11. Nice musically fun track that works well.
  12. Interesting piece, to my furry ears it feels s little laboured in places but that may be because it sounds like it repeats a little to much. As T said. This may well be just what this needs. Recording and mix wise you are definitely improving.

@Hidden Symmetry As long as people like yourself and your band play music like this I will continue to use the term Cool Grooving. Extremely Cool Grooving, hints of several Jazz Fusion bands about this, lovely mix, clean and open with air to spare.
  14. @tulamide to the best of my knowledge this is not something that is possible currently in CbB. Perhaps it would be worth making a feature request in the appropriate forum. As this thread has gone down a bit of an unnecessary rabbit hole.
  15. Not sure 25/8 is a Latin vibe, nice to hear it got you moving, thanks for listening and commenting.
  16. Hi @Larry T., no not SI-Drums, it does list the toys used. Toontrack's Superior Drummer 3. Field's of Rock SDX expansion. They are in perfect time because I wanted them that way & I programmed that, listen to the pattern played. Thanks for the listen and commenting.
  17. But then I am a little odd. Composed, record, mixed and arranged in Cakewalk by Bandlab. Synth and FX Toys used Synths Toontrack's - SD 3 Fields of Rock SDX Cherry Audio's - MemoryMood Arturia - DX-7 V, SEM V and CS-80 V FX Boz Digitals +10dBcompressor and Width All other FX are stock CbB and Pro Channel.
  18. No idea on this particular Arturia controller, however all of their controller's I researched, prior to purchasing my Arturia Keylab 88, only supported channel aftertouch.

Thanks glad you enjoyed the immersive experience.

    IWICB

Interesting sounds OK here though the mix is quite even for an unmastered, (whatever that really means)

    Set Me Free

As noted it is all a little down the middle, perhaps some belter soundstage positioning would open the mix up, as the good performances are getting a little swamped in the mix.
  22. Short and sweet was wanting more @Jesse Screed
