Question

Hello bandlab forum,

I Know ADSR, I'm now Transition from Trackers like OpenMPT, FamiTracker, MilkyTracker, FastTracker, GOATTracker, ProTracker, Etc. to Cakewalk,  I'm using VirtualMIDISynth Before Buying SC-88pro. I Added 16 Midi Tracks with 16 Different MIDI Channels for making some MIDI music. i learned to Change the MIDI Bank and Patch, so i tried it and i inserted this event to some channels with different patches by some tracks,i wondered different patches for the different track, but it doesn't. it changes for all the MIDI tracks.

How can i make Different Patches and Banks, for Different MIDI Channels on MIDI Tracks?

Let me figure it out.

Try using the Channel, Bank and Patch controls in the MIDI track header (you might need to set the Track Control Manager to 'All' at the top of the Track View to see them or use the Track Inspector. The values you set there will be sent when the project is opened and every time Playback is started, and they'll written as events in the MIDI track when you Save As MIDI.

AS I UPDATED TO LATEST VERSION IT REMOVES BOTH VIRTUALMIDISYNTH AND MS GS WT SW SYNTH. I AM SUPPOSED TO USE VST'S LIKE TTS1, S-YXGXXX, SC-XXVA, etc.

OR MIDI OUT HARDWARE LIKE SC-XX, SD-XX, MUXXX, and Etc.

There’s 100’s of free VST’s.

And you are yet another victim of thishttps://youtu.be/Zw-UqrMmF0A?si=ljby3CJGkm4T7D7l

Which can be fixed by this

Nobody seems to think that removing the GM players both GS wavetable and TTS-1 within a few months of each other was a big deal but it is. Cakewalk was considered the king / queen of midi and this was one of the big reasons.
I believe there was uncountable users who created music using those 2 players who were totally unaware of alternatives.
You want to make a good first impression with your DAW? Include a great sounding default player. Example Mixcraft, Cubase. Bad example S1.
