sjoens Posted February 1 Share Posted February 1 One reason to install the earliest programs AND updates 1st is because everything in the Shared folders is used by all versions. Among other things this includes ProChannel modules like QuadCurve. If I run a Sonar X3 update after installing CbB I will get a warning in CbB that QC is an older version and may not work correctly. I will get the warning even after reinstalling CbB, which seems odd, so I was able to retrieve the newer QC from a backup file. Otherwise I would need to uninstall CbB completely then reinstall. I guess this means older Sonar versions are using the newer QC. Wonder what else they're sharing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
