Where Are "Export Audio" Presets Located?

johnegenes@gmail.com

Question

Just wondering where Cakewalk stores the presets for "Export Audio". Haven't been able to find them in the normal places. Have created a new preset, then searched for its filename, but still came up empty.

Also, would like to import my old presets from Sonar Platinum, if they will work, but don't know where to put them.

Thanks a lot.

Andres: Thanks so much. That did the trick. I was able to find my old Sonar presets (same Key name, but under "Sonar"). I exported that key, and exported my Cakewalk Bandlab key, just to save them. Then, I opened them both in a text editor. I copied the first line from the Bandlab key (which is its name/location in the registry), and I pasted it into the Sonar key (which had all my presets), then "SAVE AS" a new key file, so I didn't overwrite the original key.  Then, I installed that new key over the original Bandlab one  in the Registry and it works like a charm.

I had about 15 different "Export Audio" presets that I had made over the years, from the early times of Sonar, and I didn't want to have to recreate all of them. This saved hours of work! And I tried them in CW Bandlab and they work. Thanks again. Really appreciate it.

You are welcome!

BTW John, apparently is not a good idea to share your mail in open forums. You could get a new user name for this forum thou.
