NEWB Question

Hello,

With Echo Input on, I get beeps.  I haven't timed them, guessing one every 10 or 20 seconds or so.  Doesn't matter if I'm recording, playback or just idle.  I thought maybe it was coming from my USB mixer so I powered it off; still there.  As soon as Echo Input is off, goes away.

Any ideas?

 

EDIT: About every 30 seconds, pretty regular.

Are Drum  Replacer or Melodyne demo plugins?

Periodic noise is one way plug-in manufacturers indicate their plug-ins are in demo mode.

Drum Replacer does not have a demo mode.

Melodyne is a timed demo. When the demo expires, the editor is no longer available but the mono MIDI to Audio and tempo detection algorithms still work.

Neither of these plug-ins produce periodic noise.

If you need a replacement ampsim, CbB includes a version of Overloud's TH3.

Thanks so much for your help!  I finally found and removed an old demo of Native Instruments Guitar Rig 4 I'd forgot about.
