Changing a Theme Element

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have several themes I like but there's one element that is too dark.  It's the "+" and "-" keys on the meter menu.  I've attached a screenshot.  Which element does this correspond to in the Theme Editor?

Thanks!

Jerry

Your screenshot is not available to me and I don't know what element you're referring to.

Try using the Windows Clipping tool to paste an image directly into your forum post - it works great for small images

Pretty sure it's a bug in 2021.04.

Looks like the tempo view images used by other views were removed.

Hopefully it will be addressed before the final release.

2021.04 Update 1 (build 175) was released with new images for Key/Meter view insert, delete and properties replacing the old tempo view images.

These need to be updated in custom themes.

For dark themes based on Tungsten, I copied the new images from Tungsten.

OK thank you. I hope the other themes like 'Lead" get updated as well..

Until the official update, adding the Tungsten Key/Meter view images for insert, delete and properties should work for Lead too.

Run two copies of the theme editor, load Tungsten in one (this may be easiest by running the editor from preferences)  and the theme to modify in the other, then copy/paste the images between Tungsten and the dark theme needing the update.

Thanks, but how do I know which elements to swap? Does it have a name?

Thanks y'all for bringing this up and explaining it.

I updated Meter/Key View>Insert, Delete, and Properties for EVA 01, EVA 01 Flat, and Racing Green, and the images propagated to Event List and Markers.

Your wait is over. Lead has now been updated to 2021.04 build 175, and that goes for Gran Vista and Carbon as well. Enjoy!
