Gregory Cuffee Posted March 6, 2020 Share Posted March 6, 2020 Hello Cakewalk Forum members I have a question I'm working on a song in the old Sonar version (not the new Cakewalk version) and for one of the tracks I want to use a software instrument. Ok so I go to Insert>Soft Synth, choose my instrument and the software instrument (in this case a Rhodes emulation called 4 FrontRhode) and hit the record button and record away. Sonar is recording the midi file as I play but I cannot hear any audio as I record. However if I stop the recording, and go back to the beginning of the segment I recorded this 4Front Rhodes I can hear the midi part but not while I'm actually recording.
