    Yes, for me this also happens with drums often, but also with vocal tracks.
    Perhaps some mono channel at the next opening becomes stereo in the channel properties?

    I've checked sometimes and mono channel are mono and sterero channel are stereo,nothing has changed.The problem is not this.And as i told,always with older projects.

    All tracks are stereo, there was no switching to mono. Just the overall sound gets louder in Aux Track.
    A real example: the day before yesterday I put together a project, balanced the mix, sent drum tracks to Aux Track - everything sounds as it should. The next day I open the same project, but Aux Track sounds louder than it was a day ago.
    This is not always the case, but several times already.

    I have had the same problem on some occasions. For example, all the drum tracks have been sent to an auxiliary channel. Everything has worked well, but when I opened the project a day or two later, that auxiliary channel has 6 dB more. inconvenience in sending the project, but it is a problem is that it happens randomly, especially in old projects not in new projects, as soon as it happens I will send the project without problem.

    Hi @Robert Bone @FJ Lamela and others who had this issue.

    Please try out this version of VST scanner. I've updated the logic so that it is more specific about the VST3 folder rather than just checking for VST3,
    It will now only look at the standard VST3 folders under Program files or Program Files (x86). Also it wont get tripped up by names like VST32.

    You will need to copy that file into C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities and then scan again.
    Let me know if it fixes the issue.

    Hi Noel.I've installed the new version of vst scanner and....IT WORKS!!!!

    The 32bits plugins are now recognised again and all work as expected.

    Thanks a lot for your help and support.

    Greetings from Spain!.

    @FJ Lamela Some questions:

    • Are the 7 plugins removed when you scan from cakewalk the same plugins from c:/vst32/?
    • Do any of those plug-ins reside within a folder that has the name VST3?
    • Are the removed plugins VST2 plugins?

    Are the 7 plugins removed when you scan from cakewalk the same plugins from c:/vst32/?

    Yes they are removed of listed plugins.

    Do any of those plug-ins reside within a folder that has the name VST3?

    Nope,because these plugins are 32bits and are installed only in c:/vst32/ for me (manually),no subdirs.

    Are the removed plugins VST2 plugins?

    Yes they are!effects & instruments!

    Thanks for your support!

  5. I've made this test.

    I install 2019.12. build 26 and i Make a a scanning  from cakewalk (not plugin manager).all my 32 bits plugins (inside c:/vst32/) are detected.Works perfect.

    I install 2020.01 build 24 and make the same,scanning from cakewalk (not plugin manager).Cakewalk say 321 plugins 0 add,7 removed!!!.Something dont work!.

    I repeated the same procedure 3 times and 3 times occurs the same problem.

    Thanks in advance!

    There have been no changes to Plug-in manager recently. All it does is utilize the VST scanner for scanning but as has been mentioned numerous times, all scanning should be done from Cakewalk not plugin manager. We don't maintain or test scanning from plug-in manager and the scan functionality from there will be removed soon. There are many other improvements to scanning such as sandbox scanning that are only available from the Cakewalk preferences dialog.

    We'll look into why this happened but please use the standard preferences page for scanning, which has been the preferred way to do it for many years.

  7. Greetings. Something very strange has happened to me (in cakewalk 2020.01). Without having changed anything, without having touched anything, cakewalk has stopped recognizing several 32-bit plugins that I have installed and I have been using without any problems until today, among them pro53 of Native instuments, and " vanguard of Refx. I have tried several solutions, including resetting the vst, rescanning, rescanning the failed ones, but none of this has worked. Cakewalk has stopped recognizing the 32bits plugins. I have tested with other software and recognizes these plugins without problems.

    I can confirm is a bug in last release.

    2019.12. build 26 works perfect.(i've reinstalled)

    This a problem in 2020.01 only.

    I hope the bandlab cakewalk team fix it!

    Thanks!

    What could have happened ?, Any suggestions apart from the mentioned ?.
    Thank you

    PS: As far as windows 10 has not done any update.
    I am currently on windows10 1809 64 bits.
    PS: They have been working with the cakewalk bridge, I have not been using adapters or anything like that.

    Excellent! I have you pegged as an EDM kind of musician and it kind of throws me off on hearing what sounds like a traditional Christmas song. Love the video too.

    Thanks a lot for listen and tour coments

    Nicely done! Have to agree garyburn, I can picture a beautiful Christmas morning with just a "skiff" of light snow.
    Maybe just a "hint" of snowed in, could that be, reindeer tracks?
    <begin rant>
    Had some "issues" with Spotify, its a free hosting service, and I understand why they want you to "create an account";
    but is it really a "bargain" for the artist if visitors have to jump thru a bunch of hoops?
    <end rant>

    Sorry to "rant" in your thread, but two potential listeners (read that as potential fans) had issues; and in my case I have an account!

    ps: SoundClick seems to welcome non-member listeners, don't know what the "user" end is like; just sayin'...

    I understand you.Thanks for listen and your coment. Im working in a  videoclip.I will tell you when be ready.

    Pd:im so sorry the problems with spotify.

    Ok, I only got a little bit out of the two but that is stellar. Elegant and emotionally moving in all the right ways. Something I'd be very proud to have come up with. Thx for sharing and I look forward to seeing the vid, (I don't come here too often as I'm a business owner but...).

    Thanks a lot for your words and listen!
