  1. Really does expose a huge flaw doesnt it .. the massive reliance on cloud services provided by a very small few companies - Google, Microsoft From a tweet: Google was down for what, twenty minutes? In that time I couldn't access any of my work, at all, couldn't view the monitor in the baby's bedroom, and missed a delivery because the doorbell didn't work. This is absolutely absolutely no way to live.
  2. Google is down: Services crash for users world wide - IRISH EXAMINER
  3. Im getting panic calls from clients whose biz uses GSUITE .. emails and cloud storage ( Drive ) .. all down
  4. @ZincT Everything down .. https://www.google.com/appsstatus#hl=en&v=status
  5. Seems all google services are down. Disturbingly .. when you try login with your GMAIL account you get "Couldnt find your Google Account"
  6. You can ONLY drag and drop the midi for the drum track within the program 24 plugin. So the midi drum lines are the separated out midi data. However it is not the same for any of the other instruments. Pressing A note plays a whole arpeggio and CW records just that note press and not the individual notes that make up the arpeggio. I hope that next update or so of PROGRAM 24 has a bit more on the midi front
  7. Thanks @scook .. I knew it was a brain freeze I was actually trying to use the Keyboards on the VSTs themselves to play and record with. That for some reason doesnt work. But when I add the Virtual Keyboard all works fine. Now that is interesting. the keyboard in the UVI vst and the AAS vsti's does not record but using the virtual keyboard in CW for these vsts does
  8. Hi Guys, Long way from noob, using CW since 90s. But having a brain freeze I opened CW today, add any VST Instrument and via INSERT SOFT SYNTH OPTIONS box, leave it at Simple Instrument track as I always do. Now arm the track, press record up top .. I hear the synth playing BUT no midi is getting recorded. Not sure if this is needed but ENABLE MIDI OUTPUT is greyed out in this options box and also in the synth UI box. For test purposes I am just using the virtual Kbrd. I have an MPK but not plugged in Cheer, Aidan AUDIO U/I - Audient EVO 4, latest drivers - NATIVE ASIO
  9. Well the beauty of whole Drum parts Midi in one track ( bass drum, snare, hihat etc ) is each part is on a separate "line" where you can say duplicate a midi drum track for snare, bass drum, hihat etc then go into each one and delete the midi for the other parts leaving just the snare, bass drum, hihat parts. Very fast procedure
  10. Hiya Just thought I would drop this here as a warning to some. I am in IT and have installed this or its been auto installed on many systems but recently I have ran into issues with it on other systems randomly. The issues I have had on various systems are: - slow to download / install but succeeded BUT then made windows usage crawl along with slow load and shutdown - slow to download / install and gave blue screen / recovery at boot .. only way out is to go back to earlier version This includes my Core i5, Win 10 pro, 16GB Dell inspiron laptop. Just went back to 2004 and the system is back to super fast peak condition vs under 20H2 I STRESS .. THIS IS FOR SOME PEOPLES SYSTEMS, NOT FOR ALL, MANY WILL INSTALL, HAVE IT INSTALLED WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY
  11. Yip havent played with it yet but looking forward to it. That video really sells it. It is really unique and I love the fact you can drag drop the midi from it so as to use that midi with all your other VSTs, very creative me thinks
  12. Any one get this yet? Watch the video above. Sounds like great fun, and it is very unique. Instant 80s synthwave creativity EDIT - I went for it, that vid persuaded me
  13. Just a reminder of this .. posted at OP by @ZincT
  14. Yeah ... Im thinking about it. As i said here before, sucker for 80s stuff. A producer buddy of mine - Michael Anthony ( lived near Garretstown beach near lovely Kinsale ) had one of these and a few other Solton items, thats why the name stuck out to me.
  15. https://www.adsrsounds.com/giveaways/win-ableton-live-10-suite/ Just suppy your first name and email addy. After that it does pop up with an option for more entries from you via soc media, but thats optional.
  16. https://www.uvi.net/program-24 Program 24 brings you the pure sound of '80s Italo Disco inspired by two wild synths nearly lost to time, the Solton Programmer 24 and SM100. The Programmer 24 is an unassuming 3-octave keyboard released in 1985, it contained everything necessary to produce complete arrangements, and real time performance features perfect for backing up the band. It sported a full 8-bit PCM drum section, analog bass and lead arpeggio with analog filters, violin, cello, and 3 flute voices (8', 4', 2'), a featured arranger, chord and pattern sequencers. To top it off, it had individual outputs for 8 drum parts and bass, full MIDI, and a tape interface for storage.
  17. €149 or less I may have considered it via there break up payment over few months BUT not at €199
  18. Thats 2 others here so far with €149 for upgrade from 7, while I am being quoted €199 .. I wonder why?
  19. I am comparing against the Cherry Audio stuff and to an extent the AAS stuff. And you can load multiple versions in a project w/o crippling system. I cannot really do that with Arturia stuff. Core i5, 16GB Ram, 2TB Hybrid Drive
  20. Aha your it .. our guinea pig See what improvements 8 brings to usability and all that
  21. Have you upgraded? Yeah .. real slow doing vcol7 updates
  22. Yip and TBH i am getting a bit weiry of the Arturia stuff and the load speeds of same and the resources it eats. I am now spoilt by the Cherry Audio standalone synths recently, thats how the Arturia stuff should be?
  23. Analog lab V is now available in V Coll 7 plus a load of updates
