  2. BUMP .. Its TOMORROW .. I foresee more purchasing by many here
  3. Note ( for me on GIGABIT Bband ). The Transfuser ( 4GB ) and Strike ( 18GB )downloads that are a few GBs in size time out download wise and have to be repeatedly started from where they last left off .. eventually get there
  4. No updates for STRUCTURE. But not much love for this sampler down through the years, so much so I never bothered installing it .. takes up lots of space also. Anybody else use it, think its ok? STRIKE is another I dont bother with.
  5. Havent had update from them in centuries Actually thought they had stopped doing anything other than flogging there old plugins off at every opportunity and price point TBH
  6. Hi Guys, I have an old portable SONY TCD-D7 Dat unit: At the moment if I insert a DAT TAPE you see the screen as above which is fine. However when you press play LOAD appears on the screen, some noises but then it goes back to the screen thats in the pic above. This is a longshot but just wondering in the past have others had similar issues with DAT recorders inc the TCD-D7 or D8 .. and SOLVED this issue? I have about 30 old dats that I would like to get stuff off.
  7. Friend of mine thinks a DK Synergy possibly Have to confess I did not hear of this one
  8. Mmmm .. any ideas what this one will be?? The fairlight CMI is what crossed my mind? But probably way off
  9. @cclarryOn foot of our chat here about 4 and 8 track units I decided to add a post on this over at the BL Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/333570523387557/permalink/4001389469938959/ Did not think I would get much of a reaction, I was WRONG ... lots more nostalgia over there in the replies now
  10. Yip ... Though finding one in Ireland now would be difficult id say. Even 2nd hand the tape heads probably worn ..
  11. Problem though might be getting the 4 track recordings off them? Would they need the portastudio to do that, not just a normal tape deck?
  12. @cclarry I think I still have the cassette tapes with 4 track recordings lying around somewhere Nice machine .. great times with it. As i said, simple
  13. Mine was TASCAM but a 4 TRACK .. back in the 90s .. happy simple days
  14. And most likely NOT for those with the FREE 8 track version?
  15. At 3.48 he answers this Q using OVOX with Guitar etc
  16. A very good Q, anyone try this?
  17. Thanking you @cclarry .. it is a bit of a no brainer as you said
  18. But when this is done at Everyplugin .. where is the 2 free offer, where do you choose? OR is this done over at waves AFTER the everyplugin purchase??
  19. How does this work in everyplugin ( the spend $70 get 2 plugs free )? It seems to be based on the WAVES price rather than the everyplugin price? which are 32.99 and 38.99 adding to > $70 then any recommends for the 2 freebies
  20. So the Q is Vocal Bender AND OVOX OR Vocal Bender OR OVOX Does one need both? At the moment you have WAVES offer of buy 2 for $70+ and get 2 free
  21. https://www.musicradar.com/news/ultimate-guitar-owner-music-group-acquires-audacity-pledging-to-keep-it-free-and-open-source There’s been a whole lot of moving and shaking going on in the audio industry just recently - Native Instruments’ alliance with iZotope and Focusrite’s purchase of Dave Smith’s Sequential synth brand to name just a couple of major developments - and now it’s been confirmed that the newly-founded Muse Group, which also owns Ultimate Guitar, has acquired Audacity, the popular free and open-source audio editor. The intention is to keep it FREE and OPEN SOURCE: “And just like we’re doing at MuseScore, we’re now planning on significantly improving the feature set and ease of use of Audacity - providing dedicated designers and developers to give it the attention it deserves - while keeping it free and open-source.”
  22. Yip .. confirm .. same thing happening here, tried a few times, then just said NO
  23. Question is .. Is it worth 49 bucks? I ask this beyond the cost regardless, as a VSTi is it worth having over many others?
  24. So until May 13th it seems Pigments is available to Arturia owners for 49 bucks instead of the 99 bucks. I am not sure what you need to own to get it at this price. In my case I have V COLLECTION 7 and I get this 49 bucks price https://www.arturia.com
  25. https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/16-EQ/3104-entropy-EQ- The Entropy Module of frei:raum. ( €101 normally - you get a Serial code / coupon ) The new dimension of EQing simplifies the postproduction of the harmonic and inharmonic sound components of audio recordings - seamlessly and extremely fast. The entropy:EQ+ is a plug-in that allows for both harmonic and inharmonic sound portions to be adjusted over the entire frequency range. Take this well-known feeling, for example: you’ve already run out of patience, but the snare triggers are still too muffled, while the guitar plucking sounds are way too dominant. It’s situations like this that have encouraged us to seek new ways of EQing and thus put an end to spending countless hours of studio time on postproduction. The entropy:EQ+ simplifies the editing process for the impact noise of drums, guitars and other plucking instruments, and introduces you to a whole new world of postproduction creativity. Plans at loopcloud BTW are about €6 a month
