    Good one!

Yeah... if you spend $198 first :)

I heard a rumor there was a guy who  offered  his all software licenses gratis if you bought  his house :)

Call me greedy, but I prefer freebie without strings attached (unless they are guitar ones ;)

    order is still in process.

I would not trust orders status too much. ;) It is pretty terrible about showing true.

I ordered ST4 in 2018 and it says it is still in progress... :lol   But I got it and wasn't  waiting too much...

    @Peter - IK Multimedia

May I request another one if IK site is saying my order is still in progress since 2018? 😛

BTW it is a pity the column tracking number is not used for a case troubles with delivery but I guess IK has not enough people for all things related to delivery or no automation implemented?

Anyone else order Arc 3 with the mic?  How long did it take to get yours?  I ordered a week ago and still waiting on it to change from "In Progress".  I know I know, the site says to be patient...

I ordered mic alone 23.08 (after grabbing in GP arc3) , shipping date on my orders page says 25.08 and I got it to my hand on 30.08 (Poland).

But if you are outside EU or on another continent it probably will need more patience... ;)

You can also join their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/thefxchain), send a message to the administrator and he will send you 21% off discount code, so Pitchmap will cost you $78!

Thanks though I'm agnostic on Facebook / Instagram and stuff like that - I don't plan on joining and I hate the type of approach that one page goes on forever but probably most people have access there so it will be a great tip for them anyway :)

Been waiting for this opto tho. Slate does comps well.

Hm, you have FG-2A and FG-Stress from opto school, but we still don't have dynamics for EQ point in Inf EQ and no saidchaining available for any compressors...

I would persist they are only faking doing a new and most welcome thing;)

  6. So disappointing...  After such long time waiting for a new plugin just another compressor, third opto-type so nothing new and also no unique features... :(

Yep, I know... it will sound differently and great (especially in announcement of Steven) but ...  They could do some random generated things in algorithms and create 1000 new differently sounding compressors at once...

it is gonna be the best ever!

It is so true. I cannot recall anything so attractive in my GAS-life from any top plugin providers. Unbelievable value for money and no one can complain about the treatment of new vs loyal customers now because we can buy their top 11 products for the price of 1 so it's just a theft for everyone :)

Honestly, I didn't expect to hit 1 + 10 (and most likely more with an extra month), so I'm pleasantly surprised by expanding my IK collection much more than I ever planned.

Looking at the current state of the art I am not confident that there will be a 100% automatic transient detection! And in some cases (vocals, electric guitar, ...) there is not just one way to define the transients, i.e. there is more than one correct possibility, but the results sound different.

Yup. I am aware of it but anyway reaching consistent and logical placement  should be possible. Then we would need only some adjustments instead of massive amount :)
Especially frustrating is observing when CbB is placing transients marker in places where even blind and drunk man never would place it :( Or skipping some so obvious then almost screaming for it.

Anyway they could also try to add  machine learning in development to improve detector without over-complicating algorithms.  I believe it is a great application for it.

So I believe Reaper's half-automatic detection is the best way to have satisfactory transient results! I am very pleased with it and quantization alone has been worth to invest in Reaper (as said somewhere else I still like to use CbB for other stuff)!

Thanks for the recommendation. I have to take a look at the next time I will struggle with transients. Although still it would be great not to jump over DAWs with different task for the same project :)

I've never noticed any transient detection issues. Curious to see if you guys find the improvement useful.

Did you try do do some work with audio of instrument like guitar for instance? CbB is finding transients in insane places and missing where they are.  Threshold is not enough to control it and manual work to move/add/delete is painful.

I would say none progress with it from ancient times so I am happy to hear anything is going to be better about it :)

The goal should be such good detection to be used in cases like getting audio track to quantize so after use transient detect function and quantize it is done ;)
Not that you need to sit hours to manually adjust.

My Godness... Larry has not only time to track and provide all possible deals but also to watch counter.... 😮 He is not not definitely a human being 🤔
