  1. Modern Cinema - Space Dreams: New from Bob Dedes (Ambient Dreams) $59 until April 1, then $92 REQUIRES UNIFY, the 40 Vital patches are for the free Vital synth. Editorial comment: I like Unify, and there are some great libraries, but I think the library pricing has gone beyond my "impulse buy" range. Maybe BF.
  2. Anyone who used their 50% off coupon a couple days ago for one of the now 60% off titles would be justly aggravated. Glad I let mine rot on the vine.
  3. My upgrade from V9 is $99, but I already own three of the "Augmented" titles.
  4. I'm throwing this in as a reply rather than a new post, because I don't know if it is a "Deal". There is a new (out a month or so) MIDI generator that is really a ton of fun. "Harmony Bloom" by Mario Nieto. $30 and well worth it IMHO. Especially if you are into chill/ambient. There is a demo, but I bought it on the spot. The dev is very responsive and involved with the community. I don't own any of the ADSR stuff and I am not that impressed with "Orbit" after watching some of the YT.
  5. https://www.adsrsounds.com/orbit/ $20 intro for next 18 days, then $25. 30 day trial available. There is a YT on the site, but it is an hour+ and not edited. Haven't tried it (yet) but it looks nicer and more tweakable than ADSR's previous MIDI toys.
  6. CPU-Z from CPUID.com is a very handy little (free) utility that tells you about everything you want to know about your system. I've been using it for years.
  7. Hmmm... When I saw "Esteemed" in my email, I assumed I was the only person that got the offer 🧐 Also hoping for a sale before it expires, because 50% off full UVI prices ain't enough.
  8. This is a pretty old program. It is fine for what it offers, but since it was released, Scaler and ChordPotion arrived and they "do it better".
  9. *yawn* I did buy Hyperion Strings Elements 5 years ago and was looking forward to the full upgrade. Since then, HOOPUS, Musio, etc. No thanks!
  10. You are correct. I went for it. Never tried their stuff before but the name is familiar. All WAV format audio, so no muli-format dupes. Everything I pulled up so far has a MIDI folder with the loops. I came across some pre-set folders too. There is also a simple VST3 drum player app called "Tech House Drums" that I won't bother with (pic from manual below).
  11. 62 "Function Loops" Packs for $25 ends March 4. Looks like about 30 Gigs ZIP / 40 Gig WAV plus tutorial vids. Cheaper options for fewer packs. https://www.humblebundle.com/software/beat-builders-crafting-captivating-tunes-software
  12. Update for the Soundpaint app. New integrated downloader and new free libraries (Accents, Guitar Triggers) & functions. https://soundpaint.com/
  13. On Toontrack site they still sell MIDI packs per instrument AND a "Mixed pack" version. All $119. I don't see the Mixed Pack on Best Service though, so I guess you have to pick an instrument specific version.
  14. I thought TT changed the MIDI 6-packs to "generic" working with EZB, EZK, OR EZD? Best Service is still listing 6-packs tied to single title.
  15. Ends Feb 29- May have been up for a while. No apps or VSTs in this one- just Music, Foley, and sound FX. $20 for 45 titles or cheaper options. https://www.humblebundle.com/software/melodic-mayhem-comprehensive-audio-and-music-bundle-software
  16. I paid $76.07 for Novum at JRR BF 2022. Good synth. That was also @ $90 but minus the GROUP discount.
  17. Lunaris 2.3 is out: 50 New Presets, Free Update! Lunaris 2 has been updated to version 2.3, adding 50 new ambient and cosmic-inspired presets in folder ’16. New in Version 2.3′. The update increases the total number of pads in Lunaris 2 to over 580. Listen to some of the new sounds in the video below. These new presets complements the optional ‘Retro Moonstation’ user interface, which was introduced in version 2.2. The 2.3 update is free of charge to all users, who can update via Native Access. https://www.luftrum.com/
  18. Her is a rundown of the MSoundfactory synths in the update.
  19. Log in at https://www.vps-avenger.com/ Changelog for Version 2.0.6 below. 2.0.6 Change Log - Added upwards/downwards OTT compressor FX. - FIXED: Crash in ProTools when loading Avenger. - MEMORY button -> SAVE: Disabled the quick save function when the preset name has changed, to avoid overwriting the previous saved preset. - Fixed issue in chord detection for 5th-multiloop samples with MIDI-note-on that are just a few samples apart. - Corrected the position of the "NUM WAVES" dial in the resampler editor. - Prev/next preset now works correctly when preset search is active. - OSC sound browser search is reset when the sound browser is closed (to avoid confusion when coming back later and seeing just a few sounds). - Preset preview with progress bar and stop button. Additionally, any note will stop the preview, and any new preview will stop the synth. This is to avoid simultaneous audio from the preview and the synth. - OSC quantizer: incoming MIDI option is now set correctly for the selected osc and not just for OSC1. - Quantizer preset browser context shows the correct selected preset. - Converting samples to any expansion content type will cause an update of the OSC-Soundbrowser to show new samples as intended. - Fixed: Rename preset in custom expansion not working. - Fixed issue in drumkit where "Copy Sample to Slot X" was not working correctly. - Fixed issue in granular/spectral with multisamples where the wrong root note was used. - Fixed a rare crash when accessing internal content lists while these lists are being updated. - Fixed an issue where the "SURPRISE ME" button at the preset-search yielded the same sequence of presets each time Avenger was opened.
  20. He had me trained to wait for the 90% off sales, but the past three freebies were new ones for me, so he managed to lower the bar to 100% 🤔

  22. I also noticed that Udemy is running a sale again for prices that look about the same as BF- ends Jan 11. They don't do subs , but I bought a couple for the first time at $10-12 last sale thought they were worthwhile. Still working through them at 20+ hours each. Then I also got this one just because it's 83 freaking hours and the bullet points were a hoot (not started it yet).
  23. Ask Audio/Video $72 One year sub. I think this is as low as it goes. 24AVNewMind72 is the coupon code. Promo ends Jan 12.
  24. K7 has never behaved well for me. I can't believe it is up to version 7.7 and still not working properly. Two of my non-player libraries from SampleLogic (M.A.P. is one) crash Kontakt 7 when I try to change patches. They DID work in an earlier 7.x version however! I thought "Batch Resave" would fix them, but all that did was stop them from working in Kontakt 6. I had to reinstall from backups so I could use them (in Kontakt 6). I can certainly see why developers are jumping (Kontakt) ship.
