  1. I did have an issue with some of the UJAM plugs when I built my current Windows PC last month. I somehow ended up with pieces of older versions trying to coexist with newer ones. In particular it was hanging Komplete Kontrol scanner. I ended up having to uninstall it all AND dig in and delete folders that UJAM left behind in the Windows "user" directories. It is a PITA to install when you have a lot of UJAM stuff- you can't just trust it to click them all. You apparently need to install each one and move down the list. I think that is part of what caused my problems. Anyway- all been working in Studio One and Ableton since then. I also only use/keep the VST3 versions, except for the few that are still VST2 only.
  2. Reverb is $14 crossgrade. I think I still have <100 reverbs...
  3. I've been driving the demo for a few days and I am pretty disappointed with the included patches, to the point I just about bagged it. I have NOT auditioned all 700+ of them (surely over 100), but there is an awful lot of harsh FM-y similar sounds. Very few make use of MPE (I have a Linnstrument). Digging in and tweaking gave me a lot more satisfaction, as far as the filters and fx, tied to MPE. The resynthesis "IRIS" is a weak point. This YT pretty much matches my own experience with it. Kinda long, but he put an index below.
  4. The best MIDI app just gets better and better.
  5. I don't FB, but good point on the lack of activity. Nothing new from them on YouTube since '22 either.
  6. Venomode/Phrasebox are still available, perhaps not at APD (PB has it, or direct). Alas, FLStudio MIDI routing is the worst. I think version 20 implemented a capture mode for MIDI VST output though. Otherwise you need to do it the way FL users have put up with since "the beginning"; install a MID looper (LoopBe, LoopMIDI, etc) and use it as a "repeater" so FL can read the data as a unique MIDI device. I think you can do it with Patcher too, but every time I decide to give FL another "go", I end up getting frustrated with the crap MIDI device support and set it aside. Frustrating, because it has a lot of other features going for it.
  7. After installing and using it for a bit, YES- that update list I snipped from AAS was misleading. Those are new to version 2.x vs. 1. I did a little digging and found the detailed changelog here: https://www.applied-acoustics.com/multiphonics-cv-2/resources/ Note separate listings for Mac vs Windows.

  9. I count myself lucky that the NA update went OK for me, but a LOT of people appear to be having problems. NI forum: https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/29009/the-sheer-joy-of-3-10-2/p1
  10. https://www.tracktion.com/products/myth $125 (30% off intro) reg. $179
  11. Spire 30% off $129 (been under $100 several times in the past) Expansions 40% off. GREAT synth tho. https://www.reveal-sound.com/
  12. I don't know about the base program size (edit- the installer is 81 megs libraries separate) , but the libraries / expansions are each in a single archive file, so no, you can't delete parts. Factory one is 6.4g and Factory 2 is 2.7g. It IS easy to keep them on a separate data drive though.
  13. FREE update for Avenger 2 owners. Use V-Manager to update, or log in (site is getting hammered ATM). https://www.vengeance-sound.com/plugins/plChangelog.php?sub=Vengeance Producer Suite Avenger 2
  14. That's true, but I would argue that only the Musio app needs to decipher them. The programmer actually explained why he used the naming process in a YT video last year, but I don't recall the specifics. I moved my Musio sample library manually once, and moved it again to a new PC. There is a utility built in that will do it, but I didn't know about it at the time. It was able to load up the samples without re-downloading, so a recovery from backup should not be an issue. Just an FYI- they also do updates to the samples (there is a version # shown per patch), so you have to download again if they were updated.
  15. https://audiomodern.com/expansions/ Explore an array of innovative electronic rhythms. Whether you're scoring a film, producing a track, or crafting atmospheric soundscapes, this expansion pack has everything you need to bring your vision to life. Plexus Comes with 15 fully unlocked customizable preset kits and 100+ sounds where each can be re-arranged and remixed into infinite combinations with our cutting-edge sequencer engine.
  16. Oh yeah! $199.99 Rather insulting to system builders, but it is an option.
  17. I bought Win 11 Pro from Stack Social three weeks ago. So far, so good. I was willing to pay more than foreign based sites ($32 plus tax; they are in the US) in case I had an issue. I bought Office Suite for my daughter from them last year and she has had no issues. You might read this: https://www.pcworld.com/article/397575/how-to-get-windows-11-cheap-or-even-for-free.html
  18. OLD info deleted... "group" price at JRR is $21 for crossgrade 🥸
  19. Cubase 13 Pro crossgrade is still $209 at BestService . Looks like a better deal now. Wish Presonus announced this while the $20 BS coupons were still good.

  21. Dear customers, spring is here! So we thought its the perfect time to give you 33% discounts on all products (Vengeance Producer Suite Plugins, Avenger, Expansions, Samplepacks) just enter "Spring33" during checkout to apply the code. If you want to order multiple items, do not use the -10% cross selling in the shopping cart, since it would overwrite the 33% Spring discount. In this case please add all desired products one by one from the websites' buy button. Then in the end apply the Spring33 code. We wish you a good time and stay healthy! https://www.vengeance-sound.com/index.php Not clear when this ends. If anyone sees a better deal on the 5-pack from a reseller, I'd like to know. Looks like there was a 50% off sale last September.
  22. New release/update. Xtreme FX 2 Sound effects. Upgrade from Xtreme FX 1 for $49. $99 new buyer, $149 regular.
  23. Some of the deals run longer. WD Red 10 TB NAS drives look interesting on the two-fer. That deal runs till March 31. I looked at my NAS stats and my set of four drives have been powered up for just over nine years. Maybe time to upgrade.
