Yep, I received a third "thank you" coupon as well. I invested in plugins that I would be using the most: AKG Spring Reverb BX20, Sonnox Inflator and Korg SDD-3000. I definitely think UA are testing the waters with this pricing/promo strategy. First time they ever did this. For the price we're paying and for the quality of their plugins... this is just a win-win for UA and their customers. (Dunno about Waves, though) Can't wait for the next promo (to drain my wallet, hah 😬)!

Yep, these are really great times. These guys make arguably the best plugins in the biz. And rightfully so. Their software development is just top notch. I really can't believe the prices are SO low! Makes me regret my recent Waves purchases. Although you're not interested in any of their plugins, I would really recommend demo-ing plugins before you buy. Some plugins are "native & apollo" and some are "apollo only". //Apollo = UA DSP Make sure to check that it's native if you're gonna buy

Exactly my sentiments. For me, I really don’t need any more compressors, limiters, eq’s, channel strips… I want some unique and creative effects.

$50 coupon plus 20% off brought Diamond bundle down to $176 for me. //I already own Creative Edition and a couple of other plugins I think I'll just wait for BF/CM to get the Diamond bundle. I have a feeling it'll be cheaper then.

VST3 and/or CLAP support would be the difference-maker for me to support Pro Tools again. But right now... I'm happy with Ableton and Reason

AI/Added Features = Increase in subscription price. That's why subscriptions, for the most part, are never a good thing. They can easily raise the price on a whim. And if you ever cancel your subscription, you can't re-open your old projects. The greediness is real. As much as possible, try not to support greedy companies.

So… they keep updating Vinyl, but they chose not to do that with Trash and just kill it off. (Release dates in 2004 and 2003 respectively, I believe). Interesting 🧐 //Ya ya, I know they’re two different types of plugins
