  1. Interesting.  Just for giggles, wanted to see if I could do it.  Unfortunately, no.  PayPal won't let me change my country/region.  I'm based in US.

Yep, very very similar. But competition is always a good thing for the consumer

I wonder how well they stack up against each other  🧐

Also, the lowest price RC-20 ever dropped to was $19.99 at PB.  If Rekraft ever goes for around that price, I’d buy it.  In the meantime, I’ll happily stick to RC-20

  3. I was so mad when NI discontinued Pro 53.  It was one of my fave VIs.  Never knew NI released the source code... awfully generous.  Good on them.

I contested the ban...and had everyone I knew over there complain, so they lifted the ban.
One of the overzealous forum Administrators banned me because he said that I was a "commercial dealer", and that was simply not true.  I only sell personal licenses that I have purchased myself.

    Did they apologize?

Do you have the VSL free orchestra, Lionel? Worth picking up if you don't. All the VSL freebies are!

I do not, but I'll definitely look into it now.  Thanks for the heads up!

Also the Spitfire BBC Free Orchestra is worth getting if you are new to Orchestration

Thanks!  I'm definitely green to orchestration.  I'll definitely check this one out!

There's plenty of "I regret buying this library" on VI-C about this one.

The general consensus being that it's very inconsistent across the mics/articulations, and badly scripted.

I own Spitfire BBCSO and can tell just from the demos of this "London" library that it doesn't compare favourably at all.

If you're new to orchestral libraries I would say save your pennies for the next Spitfire sale.  If you just want to dip your toes into the world of string libraries, I would strongly recommend one of their £29 "originals" libraries such as Originals Intimate Strings (which is truly gorgeous).

Thank you! Appreciate the advice 👍
