While we anxiously wait for the next free game...

Broken Sword: Director's Cut is free at GOG for about 71 hours. To redeem the game you need to go to the front page and click the Add to library button that is under the slideshow at the top part of the page. You need to be logged in to redeem the game.

Thank you.  I enjoyed this series back in the day, all the way back to Circle of Blood.

  2. Was trying to complete the freebie checkout process at work, but the server was still cogitating when I had to split for a meeting.  Returned to a success.  Nice surprise.

  3. Andrew Huang's bank is the only one that has interested me at all.  Then again, I'm not into EDM, so no surprise there. The banks don't have a lot of range, audience-wise.  Need to check this new one out.

The above said, I freaking love Phase Plant.  I've really only graduated from being a "preset guy" since the pandemic began, and Phase Plant is the easiest sound design launching pad for me.

Still on sale at JRR for $177.11 with code "Forum" in the cart.

Thanks. I saw that but it places it a bit further out of budget. 22 bucks more than Thomann's total price even before tax.

    So, basically, for €70, you get all of the Zebra2 soundsets (€199 Zebra2 current price - €99 price Nov 15 - €30 Zebra3 upgrade)

I've just quickly reviewed the soundsets and I'm thinking I may just wait for Nov 15 and pay the €30 upgrade when Zebra3 comes out. (I reserve the right to be convinced otherwise 😉

    NOTE:
As Zebra Legacy is such an incredible bargain, we will not be offering an upgrade path to Zebra3 for licenses purchased on or after November 15th!

@Anxiousmofo MPE has been definitely been in our minds and though I wanted to roll this out from the start with 2.0 we had to focus on making sure the core features were rock solid stable, but this will definitely come some time in the future.

Great to hear. Thanks for the quick response and best wishes for much success.  I really enjoy your products.

@Reid Rosefelt we tried looking into building what we envisioned with Kontakt  and its basically impossible, so we instead chose the (extremely hard ) route and build MNDALA from scratch. The features we have now built with the newly released 2.0 are just the tip of the iceberg of many exciting developments in our development roadmap that will now be possible and that we can't wait to start sharing in the near future.

I look forward to the further development, Brian.  I hope MPE support is on the roadmap, as well.

  8. Plasmonic is number 1 on my want list and Mr. Clevinger is admired, but this smacks to me of "negotiations fell apart and I'm seeking leverage" tactics. Whether that leverage is geared toward him reclaiming the rights independently or instead pushing NI to play ball and agree to allow him to continue to develop for them, I don't know. And this is just going off the email I received-- I still haven't watched the video.

Either way, a modern Absynth was my number one want from NI, so this greatly lessens my desire to get more  current with Komplete.

Mr Clevinger is MPE focused and it appears NI doesn't want to open that can of worms and have it subsequently demanded across their product line. I wonder if that is a deal-breaker point of contention.
