  1. Thanks, was looking for this info. This will save me some money (since XO is more expensive, even on sale). I don't need the extra samples from XO, I got more than I could ever be bothered to listen to.

  2. So i bought the V collection because it was on my wishlist. I thought I didn't need the FX collection (als because I got most IK items in the group buy). Buuuuttttt, now they make it €69 to upgrade. Since I dropped a product from my Black Friday wishlist for around that price, I think I HAVE to do it. 20 new (for me) products is € 3,45 a piece.

I will wait however, as there are always other unforseen deals and it seems a lot of these are duplicates of plugins I already own and don't use that much.

As does the stock. I'm slightly worried the Microfreak will go out of a stock (as it has been for most of the year), but the new Hydrasynth Explorer is 4-5 weeks awayfrom coming in. I'm also trying to return a fault Skulpt, but I can't find a shipper. So that should put a credit note o hopefully in time for the Hydrasynth. But if either go on offer, I place the order and have to let the credit note sit there.

    Edit: Thomann

Oh yes the Microfreak is a tough one. I was lucky to find a retailer who just got a small batch and I ordered the last one. Just keep scanning retailers and perhaps you get lucky.

If only Thomann would match these sales at this side of the water

I kinda keep track of prices sometimes, and hardware sales are tricky I find, because the 'from' prices seem to fluctuate a lot. Now granted, the Poly-D, Neutron and Pro-1 are discounted and a lot cheaper at SW. But the Crave is supposed to be discounted but still cheaper not-discounted at Thomann. The TD-3 fluctuates heavily in price that it's impossible to determine what the sale price is. Although 89 seems pretty good.

  5. If they were to replace that insanely big center dial in their plugin interfaces with a gif of Homay Schmitz noodling away at the piano, I would buy every single one of their products.

  6. Use code GROOVE3 on their own website https://www.eventideaudio.com/plug-ins/spliteq/ and you get an additional 25% which makes it $74,25.

I'm seriously on the fence about this one. I read and see that it is briljant and a must have. But it would be EQ number 36 and not a cheap one at that. So is it $75 more briljant than Fabfilter, Sonible or SSL?

I bought MMorph from Bax Music yesterday as it was nearly half off current sale:

Problem is I haven't heard a peep from them since, only an order email but no download links or serial number!? I know they are legit company as I have bought physical goods from them before (I'm in UK), anyone have experience buying software from them? I'll contact support I guess

I don't know if there is any difference between the UK Bax and the Dutch Bax. But I bought software from them some time ago (I believe it was the Rob Papen bundle), I THOUGTH that they weren't delevering, but the serials were on the "pakbon" (packaging slip?) which I got from them minutes after ordering.

  8. I've made a wishlist containing some 20 plugins/preset packs/sample packs ranging from € 10 - 350 (discounted), averaging at around 100. I included stuff like Arturia's V-Collection, Omnisphere and a huge Spitfire sale, so if I leave them out, that halves the average to €50. I've kept track of previous sale prices for all my wishlist items. If they do not at least match those discounts, I'm not buying. If they do, I'm buying. Worst financial case, I'm down €2000 but with an empty wishlist. So that would give me a very cheap 2022, right? Right guys? I'm serious...
