  1. I need that Nocturnal Beats expansion for my hybrid orchestral dubstep Bulgarian folk dub industrial hip-hop. Don't judge me. You don't know me!
  2. 300 for the upgrade from Ultimate to Ultimate CE. I think I will bite. To much good stuff there I would like to pay with. I've got a separate license for Arkhis a while back, so I will have that double. Does anyone know what the resell policy/process is? Edit: I will wait and see if there's perhaps a better deal with the JRR code or Audiodeluxe bucks.
  3. Haha I watched this yesterday. It convinced me it was not of interest to me. So I'm all good.
  4. I have everything besides the Firewood piano. Which is €20 as an upgrade. Which is a discount of €10 on an Originals. Tempting, but I don't know if I got use for it.
  5. Well, that's just it, I feel you have to be a very serious Live user Γ‘nd/or use this live (note the lack of a capital l) to justify the price fully. I don't know, but €949 for a MIDI controller is serious money. Even if it is MPE. If it was 200-300 less I probably would buy it and sell my Push 2. I will stick with my Push 2 for now. Which I don't use enough as it is. If i were to perform live (well I do, but not yet with the Push or Ableton's session view), this would be a very tempting piece of kit though. I hate the word gamechanger, but at least I have the feeling they are raising the bar and setting a standard here.
  6. https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/leapwing-centerone.html Normal price $199.99, sale $149.99. Use code CENTERONE-11999 to get it for $119.99. Sadly, Forever29 doesn't work πŸ˜”
  7. Here we go again. I tried to make something mellow but with big synths. Then I decided it needed something that sparked interest. Thank god for the Sub37. I made a nice patch which cut through the mix nicely. Then I decided to modulate it with an LFO and it made things a lot more interesting. So much so that live modulating was the way to go. Had to learn the G minor scale pretty quick to play live. I think it went pretty well. I cut out playing 1-2 beats too early, but hey, it's live. The triplet tempo signature adds a nice flow.
  8. It's free until 31-5. I just got it for free.
  9. Same for me, just registered and it says the code is invalid. Will chech again tomorrow, but I doubt that's the issue.
  10. Reported: "I'm in this post and I don't like it".
  11. I'm not a composer so I'm not that interested in the Ark series or any other big cinematic libraries. I have BBCSO, Albion One and Project Sam's Orchestral Essentials, which is more than enough for me. But I do like the more electronic products of Orchestral Tools. Arkhis is awesome, Drones is great, the Fabrik series is very usable for me. These are high quality products in my genres.
  12. Thanks! That sentiment takes me back to my DJ days, recording a set and at the 50 minute mark messing up a beatmatch haha. Hour wasted. Luckily these jams are just around 5 minutes, I can always record again. Actually, this wΓ‘s take 2 because in the first take I just forgot to open the filter of the Peak. So halfway through I was like "I'm missing something..." πŸ˜…
  13. They are messing things up a bit. The Raummaschine is on the page of the Blackbox. And for a very brief moment I got very very excited (see image). Turns out the shipment was just the plugin. In the email it says that the order is for the Raummaschine but when I click on the order it says that it is the Blackbox.
  14. Oh that's just great, now I have to get that one too. And another chance at the Creme.
  15. My latest jam. I've been in a sort of creative rut lately. Not really happy with anything I made. And to be honest, this is no exception. It's certainly not bad and I still had some fun. But you know, sometimes it's just not what you want it to be. It's...eh, messy? On top of that I made a slight playing error near the end (marked with an "oops" graphic) and decided to leave my (Dutch) reaction at the end as a blooper/outtake. "Oooh one tiny mistake, a f* it, let it go haha." I amuse myself...πŸ€ͺ
  16. Very good dev! This too seems like a nifty little tool.
  17. Freebeat also has a quick walkthrough the changes. So next to all the existing oscillator types (including a vocoder and wavetable) we are getting granular AND samples?! The year is 2035: Arturia announces version 18.0 for the Microfreak. It somehow grew legs and is able to dance on stage AND get you a beer while you jam. There is a new stereo output because the Microfreak, and only the Microfreak, is able to morph MIDI CC data into sound. It learned this with the implementation of AI in version 16.5. After it became sentient, it started to use it's microphone as a speaker to give you hints on how to properly use the granular arpeggiator, provided in 5.0 (!!!). Arturia suggests to not connect it to the internet, as it started to make Youtube accounts where it makes fun of the upgrade price of V collection 15. We are yet to figure out how it is able to film, but we suspect it's the D# key.
  18. Trouble is I don't seem to be able te delete previous versions? Or I'm overlooking something. I've never used Gold 3 and that's installed also.
  19. The gift that keeps on giving. I can't wait to use this in my jams! Sounds awesome. It borders on insane how great their dedication is to the MF 😎
  20. Thanks for the heads-up, seems to be a free upgrade for existing Gold users.
  21. Again a bit scary to play live, but I was smart in choosing a scale where I could just play the black notes and I would be mostly fine πŸ˜‡. The TD-3 is very underrated imo, so here it, front and center. I got a bit lucky with the Microfreak (which plays that dub stab), that the patch had some filter modulation so every hit is different. That saved me a lot of filter tweaking. The 2600 is growing on me more and more, but it's still not the easiest to get a grip on. The opera singer is from Fluffy Audio Simple Opera Singer, $49 when not on sale (I think I got it for $39). Sounds awesome as a layer! I tried to keep the beat very minimal and soft so the synths took the leading role. I think it worked pretty well. Perhaps a bit too much reverb. And I should have low cut the Microfreak. Lessons learned.
  22. Living the dream!
  23. I'm actually pretty proud of myself I got bumped down from the €75 tier to the €50.
